the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection

You are correct; he's apparently vacillating on the previously firm decision to have a post season commit party. Stanford visit is still on in July - coach has an engagement in the area that he *won't* miss - so unless Stanford blows his footies off, he's strongly considering ending it relatively shortly thereafter. |

Am really curious to see what the offense will look like since Borges now has most (all?) of the pieces he desires (albeit not fully developed pieces..yet). |

If I recall correctly, he wanted a shot as WR and got it that first year - then started moving (getting moved, I should say) around. |

That site owner is consistently horrible, but glad Smith has continued to take "the hit" in stride. |

He sure seemed nonchalant after his dirty flailing while trying to draw a foul...which broke Manu Ginobli's nose. Haven't seen him do the flail lately, but it was so obvious that Adrian Wojnarowski (sp!?) wrote an article entitled "Kobe, the cheap-shot artist."
Can't sympathize with him one bit... |

...he, at this point, highlighted Michigan's staff as his fave. Short excerpt from 247Sports: "They are my favorite coaching staff as a whole. We have a lot of chemistry." |

I read that as Brian hoping Countess will be, for all intents and purposes, a war daddy of a CB. A mini Darelle Revis, if you will. |

Borderlands 2 is amazing. Best combination of FPS and RPG I've ever played. Plus the graphics, engine, weapons, content, the zone music (Caustic Caverns is my fave), co-op play, and Handsome Jack? People will love the Goliaths. "Time for squishing!" |

...but the Dream Team is Michigan's designation for those chosen and honored for their achievements on the football field. In Maryland and D.C., for example, we have the "All-Met" Team. Am very aware of people's feelings regarding FREEP, but I cannot find another link to all listed for this year's Dream Team. If interested, it is here: http://www.freep.com/article/20121202/HSS/121201037/2012-Michigan-prep-f... |
| 24 weeks 4 days ago | Paraphrasing... |
...the paywalled info Conley is quoted as saying he didn't go to visit Ohio per se, he just went to the game. Validated his "to the game" comment by pointing out that, while there, he contacted nobody from Ohio. Buckeye posters on Scout boards have said this as well... |
| 24 weeks 5 days ago | re: Howell, correct |
He stays in foul trouble, and is pretty passionate (that sounds better than "emotional", right?). Wood (very good spot up shooter) and Leslie should be Michigan's main concerns, with Warren (SF, three point range) and Purvis (early on many said his game reminds them of Wade's. "Reminds"...) being the heralded freshmen. Their frosh PG is very slight but is scrappy and has good vision. Thing about NC State lately (coming from a UNC basketball fan for years) is that they've become increasingly athletic (especially after they moved on from Lowe and Atsur at pg), but they haven't been terribly disciplined. CJ Leslie was prone to hunting for his shot outside of the offense, and he's a very athletic slasher type. Still slight frame though. Gottfried had a reputation as a very solid recruiter but average coach and, by the looks of things, it's spot on. I still expect Michigan to win (by 12 points or so), but if it turns into an up and down game, that would increase State's chances. |
| 25 weeks 3 days ago | That Bolden TFL - |
Another example from a UFR that illustrates (for me) what Mattison is talking about. With this, I recall hearing Mattison say something about everyone taking the correct step and moving in unison. At the snap, you see Kovacs, Demens, and Bolden all take that hard first step to the right...in unison. Beautiful stuff to watch. |
| 25 weeks 5 days ago | Eh, already does according to a Scout interview... |
....sounds like he said, in order: 1. Oklahoma 2. Ole Miss 3. Oklahoma State 4. Michigan 5. Michigan State And well, since Oklahoma hired his uncle a few months ago... |

| 27 weeks 6 days ago | Nicely done. |
I studied Kill's face after that ill-fated fake field goal, and found...nothing. No emotion, no disgust, which was rather surprising. That was a really, really bad call; in addition, as the announcer pointed out, they threw to the boundary side of the field. Barry Allen, Pietro Maximoff, and a select few others could have squeezed out a first down on that side of the field, but that's about it. I notice Dehrvern's height most when he scrambles/runs; I cringe whenever I spot an incoming tackle because he's such a HUGE target; even when he spins after contact it seems like he absorbs some unnecessary punishment. Denard appears to be diving and darting to the ground a little more this year which I personally applaud. Take as little punishment as possible. Hope you heard about the possible metallic accent to Michigan's helmets (next year? Can't recall when the article said it might happen). Ew. |
