Sam Webb mentions possible surprise recruit
January 31st, 2012 at 4:30 PM ^
Rob Lowe says that Payton Manning will sign with us, giving us a QB for this class.
January 31st, 2012 at 4:36 PM ^
So we're going to lose to Ohio 4 years in a row but then win a National Championship in 2016?
January 31st, 2012 at 5:26 PM ^
He may just win that Heisman after all.
January 31st, 2012 at 4:30 PM ^
Nick Perry, clearly.
January 31st, 2012 at 4:31 PM ^
Stefon Diggs and Brady Hoke worked in Cohuts and had a slient Commitment
January 31st, 2012 at 4:32 PM ^
Per Sam Webb, 'not a Diggs-level surprise'. Don't your breath, you will pass out.
January 31st, 2012 at 4:33 PM ^
'not a Diggs level surprise'
January 31st, 2012 at 4:35 PM ^
This considering that Sam has been emphatic that Diggs will not sign with Michigan.
January 31st, 2012 at 4:34 PM ^
Yuri Wright? Wasn't he on campus the other day?
January 31st, 2012 at 4:35 PM ^
Would this be a good time to get a free 7 day trial of the insider?
January 31st, 2012 at 4:35 PM ^
January 31st, 2012 at 4:41 PM ^
Payton just announced on ESPNU he's headed to Washington...

BUCKLE UP!
January 31st, 2012 at 4:39 PM ^
I've been buckled up for a week and I'm starting to chafe.
January 31st, 2012 at 4:47 PM ^
After the total strikeout the other day, plus the fail of the original 'buckle up', I'm officially calling that phrase bad luck.
January 31st, 2012 at 4:37 PM ^
Glenville have a C? A TE? A QB?
Ted Ginn Sr. is to Brady Hoke as Scott Boras is to Dave Dumbrowski
January 31st, 2012 at 4:51 PM ^
They have a couple of CB's. Sean Draper just verballed to Iowa, but V'Angelo Bentley is a corner I wouldn't mind taking a chance on.
January 31st, 2012 at 4:39 PM ^
Surprise recruit committed to another school so mentioning his name right now might lead to additional pressure on him before tomorrow. However, it will be major if he signs the dotted line tomorrow.
PS - He is a WR committed to a southern school and not on anyone's radar.
January 31st, 2012 at 4:52 PM ^
You're killing me, inside info?
January 31st, 2012 at 4:54 PM ^
and why do you know things?
January 31st, 2012 at 5:04 PM ^
My heart wants to believe you.
But my head says, hmmm, random internet dude who just joing today and has a total of 1 point?
I want to go with my heart, but my head is winning this one.
January 31st, 2012 at 5:09 PM ^
that being his first post, consider that he might be a troll.
January 31st, 2012 at 5:10 PM ^
My best guess: Ja'Quay Williams
January 31st, 2012 at 5:16 PM ^
he didn't visit though, did he?
January 31st, 2012 at 5:17 PM ^

Hello Faz or Hello Faz?
January 31st, 2012 at 4:38 PM ^
I don't want to post paywalled material, but our old friend TomVH posted something on WolverineNation with a name and if it is the same player we are talking about a 4* WR committed to an SEC school.
January 31st, 2012 at 4:46 PM ^
ESPN owns the presentation of the news. They don't own the information itself. You can post it without violating copyright.
January 31st, 2012 at 4:59 PM ^
I'm well aware of the law - I can legally post it, but you must be new around here if you think it is okay to post paywalled material from another site is acceptable on MGoBlog.

Chill out Edgar!- Sam Emerson 'The Lost Boys'
January 31st, 2012 at 5:29 PM ^
He also deleted the post and said that he doesn't want this rumor to get out. It seems like it has been spilled by some posters.
January 31st, 2012 at 4:46 PM ^
Jason Croom maybe? I wouldn't want to be apart of that train wreck Dooley is commanding.
January 31st, 2012 at 5:05 PM ^
I count 6 4* WRs on scout (not including the Juco prospect). Croom, Hatcher, A. Johnson, Cooper, C. Black, & K. Smith.
If you use ESPN, Roland, Howard, Addison (soft verbal on Scout), Pittman, Cowan, J. Williams (soft verbal on Scout), also qualify.
January 31st, 2012 at 5:13 PM ^
And Michigan just offered '13 CB Ryan White, high school teammate of Hatcher.
Edit: Sorry, thats DE Jason Hatcher, not a WR. But White is also teammates with WR James Quick.
January 31st, 2012 at 5:17 PM ^
James Quick will be one of the top WR recruits in 2013. I doubt we'd bank on getting him.
Also, glad to see Michigan offering 3 kids from Trinity, which was Rivals' top high school football program this past season.
January 31st, 2012 at 5:38 PM ^
I realized they were all '13 recruits after I posted. Not really relevant to this discussion, but solid offers nonetheless.
January 31st, 2012 at 5:44 PM ^
Well that's good, it must mean he has EES-EEE-SEE speed
January 31st, 2012 at 4:38 PM ^
It's Taco Pants' cousin Tostada Capris....
He's only 10'5" tall, but plays DB and has hips on a swivel.

Ron Thompson.
January 31st, 2012 at 4:58 PM ^
