We'd have to look at the expected points from each if those field positions (which I believe has a direct relationship to adjusted win probability).
Using the advancedfootballanalytics.com Win Percentage Calculator to get a Expected Point value (I left the Game State at 5:00 left in 1st, no spread, but I don't think that should affect the expected points):
Your Group A then has Expected Points of (1.25, 1.37, 1.44, 1.44, 1.51) average of 1.40 points. Group B would have Expected Points of (.90, .90, .95, 1.00, 2.66) for an average of 1.28 points.
So without some hand - waving about momentum (isnt there a Mathlete article about that?)I don't know how you argue that Group A is preferable.
Still, that could have just been a bad choice of example datasets.

I thought around this blog we went with the sack yardage as counting against passing, not rushing.
just looking at the box score, seems like it was 90 yards rushing. -65 rushing yards on Clausen (sacks), and -31 rushing yards for "team". Is that more sacks?

At about 8:30 left in the second Syracuse pulled a Sparty, slapping the floor before giving up an easy basket. Made me chuckle a bit.

because, third world is a Cold War term. First World being US and allies, Second being Russia (USSR) and allies, and Third being anyone not affiliated with either.

That's some Jaden Smith level logic right there.

Any chance there are enough people stuck in SEC country to warrant a event down here?
I'm in Huntsville, AL. Decent number of Michigan alumni with all the engineering in town. Maybe Atlanta or Nashville for higher population areas? I'd be willing to drove a bit.

Right, he wasn't concerned with his current team. He pretty much threw away the whole season... oh wait. Rose Bowl.

No, the MCL is a red herring. it was the butler the whole time.

I watched the game with a Purdue alum, which made watching the game all the more enjoyable. I asked the same question and was informed:
Similar to the 3rd down key shaking that people seem to be okay with or think it's the worst thing ever, Purdue brings out the keys for kickoff. If a student doesn't have keys to shake around they have to take off their shoe and wave it around instead.

Hate to burst your bubble, but that isn't the play where Denard breaks out for the touchdown...

Michigan is the only team in the AP Top 25 with a loss.

I recently moved down to Huntsvill , AL for an engineering job. So I see a decent amount of Miss State grads (in fact my boss is one). As I understand, they are none of the best engineering schools in the SEC, but still not at the level of Michigan, Purdue, or other Big 10 schools.
