Same story different year.
at least it's not just us?
Same story different year.
Why did Brundidge transfer again?
have him going 30th overall...in 2013. I've heard that this year's drafts didn't see him or THJ going in the first two rounds
LOSS TO OHIO U HAS TORE ARE TEAM A PART!!!
Burke specifically says "I'm coming back."
People freaking out about an article in which the Freep quotes Burke's dad as saying that Trey wants to play in the league someday and turning it into "Burke Already Drafted to NBA" are dumb. $0.02
It's hard to love again, man...and, sh*t, Smotrycz left. Doesn't anybody want to be part of this family anymore?!
The thing is - in my opinion, Trey's not anywhere near ready for the NBA. If he were to leave in a situation where it's in his best interest to leave, I'd be disappointed for Michigan basketball but feel happy for the kid. Hey, c'est la vie. But what hurts here is, if he leaves I don't see *anyone* benefitting.
Reason why he'll leave is cuz the draft is very weak for his position and he had one hell of a year. Why he should stay is to become more of a leader and have more control of the game. I think he should stay because he has a lot more to work on to improve his game and make him more more of an nba guard.
Have him give Darius a call. The NBA is hard for guards to stick.
Trey Burke is considering the draft? Color me not-fucking-shocked.
If anyone was actually naive enough to believe he wouldn't even inquire about his stock, well, shame on you. Common sense still says he stays, stop freaking out.
Why don't any of these young players think about what they are giving up?
Burke is the star of the team, he's on the front page of newspapers, he's on national TV getting interviews, and plays in front of 12,000 fans who scream his name. This is a part of his life he will never get back if he gives it up.
If there's a good chance you are going to warm the bench in the NBA for years and/or flame out, why would you give up your stardom? This might be the highlight of his basketball career, that which he has worked his whole life for. I just can't imagine giving that up when you are a middling 2nd-round draft prospect who will likely end up in the D-league for several years...
Money, Money, Money, Money................Money. Some people got to have it, some people really need it.
Although if he left, meltdowns all around.
Colton, Burndridge, and Smot I was fine with. Colton wouldn't have gotten any time. Brundridge was going to make a minimal impact. We're deep enough with our bigs to absorb Smot leaving.
Burke leaving would make my head asplode. EWZDTCFYVGUBHKIJNLM DON'T LEAVE TREY. I AM WILLING TO PAY YOU TO STAY IN SEXUAL FAVORS.
Yeah, this is me before he leaves. If he actually does, I'll be on suicide watch like they NW basketball guy after they lost to Minnesota.
BS freep just wants attention after the trasfers today and they thought this would be the perfect time to release this.
dont believe this article
Still in shock about Smot
truth to it, then Brundidge probably wouldn't be leaving. I'm calling bullsh#t on most if not all FREEP stories.
Benji Burke, Trey Burke's dad, tells us they're hearing Trey'd go 18 to 24 in the draft. They have submitted paperwork to test the NBA water
Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck.
Never underestimate the ability of (young) people to be stupid. First Manny, than Morris, now this.
Isnt going anywhere. How many 5-11 PG's do you see in the NBA with 1 year of college experience? It's not going to happen. Especially when arguably the best recruiting class is coming in.
He'll splash the water just like Denard did. He won't go anywhere.
Besides, didn't he and Tim say they were coming back after they lost to Ohio?
Are there any decent 5th year mid major PGs looking for a grad school?
Just because you're considering doesn't mean you're leaving. Isn't that what Denard and JT did after the Sugar Bowl? Or is this something really different?
