Damn good thing too.

The plan here was obvious from the B1G, get Ono to suspend him for 2 and then immediately suspend him for the 2 the commissioner can suspend him for and get him out of the way for the OSU game.

The B1G, in their protection racket for OSU, has outed itself as one of the most corrupt organizations in existence.

Good for you President. The audacity of B1G commissioner to request a suspension without completing the investigation and having no proof about Harbaugh's involvement is beyond belief. Bacon said that commissioner is showing no leadership and it is evident.

this "smart political move" you mention makes him look weak and ineffectual. I'd maybe rethink that angle.

In the movie about this in the future, I'd love for Ono to drop casual power moves into his conversation with Petitti:

"how do our TV partners feel about coming down hard on a flagship brand responsible for the vast swaths of money that their partner schools are able to leverage an equal share of?"

"I'd hate for this to drag out in court..."

"we have our own little investigation into compromised cloud servers, which would include many felony privacy, computer, and trespassing charges--which may have been at the direction of another school."

in the comedy version Ono slowly starts a chant to himself that gets louder each time "s, e, c, S, E, C, S E C"

So the B1G had a conference call/meeting with the coaches and gave them a platform to bitch about Michigan.  Was this a B1G coaches meeting that excluded Michigan?

My bet is that those cowards would not have had the courage to speak so freely if there was Michigan representation on the call.

Is this accurate about the call? Just curious.

Anyway, the commissioner obviously was bullied by the B1G coaches to approach Santa. Obviously the B1G commissioner has no balls. Good for Santa.

He really asked to suspend Harbaugh? Looks like the B1G is willing to cave to the mob. I'm glad Ono said no and stood strong.

These coaches are out for blood clearly, and as Shakespeare once said, these violent delights have violent ends. I hope Michigan puts the rest of the conference on notice, they're no punching bag.

There is so much false garbage, from every side and every angle, who knows if Ono met with Petitti or Ono even stuck up for Harbaugh.

What I do know, and there is plenty of proof, is that Ono adores UM football, loves Harbaugh, and is willing to put out his neck for the program more than Warde ever will.

Heck, Harbaugh's last contract was made through Ono, when it should have been done through Warde.

So clearly the Big Ten wants to cave to the mob mentality - might have been mentioned but why cant the Big Ten commissioner just suspend him? Why does he even need to go to Ono as UM President for permission?
