Possible transfer alert: Wake Forest 6'4 WR visiting Michigan this week

Per Henschke, Wake Forest WR transfer Jahmal Banks is visiting Michigan this week.  He's big (6'4, 208).  He's caught for almost 1300 yards and 13 TDs over the past two seasons.  He's likely only has his COVID year left of his eligibility.

This would be a good consolation prize after missing out on that tall Indiana WR that Brian so dearly craved.

GO GIT 'IM!

This is stupid that our coaches have to worry about this while preparing for a national championship.

The recruiting/portal calendar is a fucking mess.

Michigan football social media should be showcasing everything that our transfers have done this season.  The Bama game was a literal highlight reel fest for these boys.

Come on over Banks, join the good guys.

Not the same thing. He looked worse than Stonum ever did. Reminded me of the big time receiver we lost to FSU many moons ago that never figured out how to be a receiver (Campbell?).

Not impossible that he could get better but you're probably better off letting him figure it out at CB and getting a portal WR that you know can track and catch a ball.

Seems like a smart kid

A 6-foot-3, 208-pounder from Arlington (Va.) St. Frances Academy, Banks chose WF over offers from Rutgers, Syracuse and a host of Ivy League schools. After two developmental seasons with the Demon Deacons, Banks broke out in 2022 with 42 catches for 636 yards and nine touchdowns. In 2023, he had 59 catches for 653 yards and four touchdowns.

Cursory search has him visiting (to hell with) ND last month and the money cannon that is Nebraska now.
