Sounds like the ACC initiated it, which means they must see the writing on the wall as the next raiding target from the SEC.

Once I made the mistake of clicking on that link I almost immediately curled up into the fetal position, sobbing and clutching my blanket.

I call it CTS*, something akin to shellshock or PTSD.

Can we assume they will call themselves the "Alliar-"?*

*The Alliance had 40 schools. With the B1G's presumed departure and raid of the Pac-12, that leaves just 24 schools. Just like the remaining schools, the "Alliar-" is 60% of the Alliance.**

**Yes, this joke and the longwinded explanation was much funnier when I put it together in my head.

This sounds like an alliance!

As we know, alliances always work well!  Nobody ever stabs anyone in the back!

(actually, this one has a better chance than most, simply given the ACC and Pac-12's geography.  Sort of like an England/Turkey alliance in the Diplomacy board game.)

Duke, UVa, UNC and GT need to get their shit together and get to the B16 ASAP.

Those 4 plus UWash and Oregon or Stanford should complete the 24 team conference of champions.
