OT: Friday Night Drinking Thread

Another week bites the dust. Just finished grilling some dogs for the wife and I and made some home made coneys. Getting ready to crack the first beer of this spring eve. My leadoff hitter for tonight is "a little crazy" IPA by Revolution Brewing. We've got a late night game between the Tigers and Athletics later.

I got invited out to a bar by buddy Ive known for a while. I was hesitant but figured fuck it I’ll have one or two beers.
Apparently I am the only person I’m the county who didn’t know he was a Hells Angel. Crowd parted like Moses and the Red Sea when we walked in. Random people bought me beers and shots just cuz I walked in with him.

Friday night is always High Life night! Probably finish with an absinthe nightcap. Cheers all!

Saw "Promising Young Woman" which was very good, but may not be streaming yet. Want to see "Nobody" starring Bob Odenkirk which also looks good.

I was quite pleased to hear they've already committed to KO 2 & 3. It was a fun movie.
I enjoyed, “Nobody” last night. Both, “Knives Out” and, “Promising Young Woman” were better but can’t go wrong with any of the 3.
“Promising Young Woman” stayed on my mind for at least a week after. Hard to shake a lot of moments in that movie.

Do yourself a favor and start watching Yellowstone. Too dope of a series. 1hr long episodes and you’re on the GD edge of your seat whole time.
What’s in your “cup” always sounded weird to me. I know XM always said that he had red pop (red wine) in his cup. But “glass” just sounds better. What are we, drinking tea? Pinkies out!

I think I will go with some Jameson's Irish Whiskey tonight in my GLASS. It's very smooth and quite tasty. I would typically go with bourbon such as Bulleit or Buffalo Trace but I'm on my second bottle of Jameson in the last few months and it's going down well.
Besides, as much as I love bourbon, it sure takes a lot of oak barrels to produce.
Working on a Cromulent by Transient and a chicken tikka masala for dinner.

Aperol spritz and turning on M softball right now.
After pouring one out for XM, I'll be having a bourbon, maybe Woodford reserve double oaked. Grilled some brats for dinner tonight and doing bacon wrapped venison roast in the smoker tmrw
