Our corners don't bite like state is we will be ok. We have a great team up front so we need to get to the QB and make sure we contain. Contain is always the key against that shitty team down south.
My hope is that it is way more Blue next Saturday. That will be disappointing to the team if it isn't. They have held up their end now the fans need to do the same.

Our secondary is better than MSU's for sure. But I don't think they qualify as more than average, and are not near in talent to OSU WR's IMO, sadly.

I agree that they're not near OSU's receiver talent. No one is. But there's a lot to like as well. Dax Hill is excellent, Hawkins is a veteran, Turner has emerged, and UM's pass rush is elite.
OSU is *very* good, but this game isn't an indicator of how ours will go.

Yep. Football, like most teams sports, is about matchups and pretty much everyone knew that this OSU team is the worst possible matchup for state. I think Michigan might be a nightmare matchup for OSU, or I’m at least hoping they are. We can get after their QB and get him rattled and we have an offense that excels where they struggle. Next week should be a battle.

There’s no reason to get our hopes up. Maryland is moving the ball with ease and has guys open all over the field. There’s no reason to think OSU won’t put up 40+ with absolute ease. Meanwhile Cade is doinking balls off of helmets and working on his arm angles in the middle of the game.

Well, mission accomplished there. They've been run out of the stadium in both their losses. And yes, I'm chalking this up as a blow-out loss. It would still be a blowout loss even if osu quit playing and sparty scored 5 TDs in a row.

I cheered against OSU in every game this year until today. Here are my reasons to cheer for OSU to win:
1) If we are to win the conference, we need another MSU loss and PSU is having some QB issues so it is OSU that we need to beat MSU.
2) Screw MSU and their dreams of grandeur under Mel Tucker.

I'm not sure how OSU destroying MSU has anything to do with 'our rivalry'. I think it just shows that OSU doesn't need to be hyped for a rivalry game to be a destructive, efficient machine that can put points on teams in a hurry.
As far as Michigan goes..before worrying about the game next week, why not try to convincingly win this week first.
