Badminton is not even an NCAA sport, so they are really screwed.

To further demonstrate how truly screwed up the NCAA is, the NCAA required badminton to NOT be a co-Ed sport. This is completely at odds with the spirit of Title IX. At the high school level, badminton matches have boys singles and doubles, girls singles and doubles, and mixed doubles. 5 of a matches 21 points accrue from mixed doubles. It’s a fantastic sport that brings people together, but the NCAA can’t wrap its distorted head around that concept.

Apparently cheat at fencing is what tosu does while thinking no one is watching.

Quite honestly, making the fencing team take the fall is dangerous. They are armed, after all, albeit with sports equipment rather than, say, and actual dueling epee or sabre.

Well someone had to fall on the sword to preserve the football program.

Like that old saying goes, when Kentucky breaks the rules, you know Cleveland State is going to get made an example of for it.

This is how I would investigate Ohio State's athletic programs too.  Start with the big time cash earners and work your way out from there.

The correct headline is: "OSU Men's Basketball and Football accused of rules violations, Fencing, Women's Golf and Women's Basketball face penalties"
