Michigan vs MSU MBB Open Thread

T-minus 60 minutes to game time.  I just got off a long day of work and am looking forward to a great game.  Figured we could fire this thing up early here to get some conversation going for this huge game.  

If Michigan wins today we will be the first team to beat 3 top ten teams in a row in a season since Iowa did in 1986-87 (per ESPN stats and info).

Go Blue!  BEAT STAEE.

Are getting it done. Stauskas has to want the ball even with Harris guarding him. Very little back door cuts and because of no low post threat, lots of triple tries. Get back on D. Work on the D rebounding and push the ball this half.

2nd half keys - some offense in the paint, some defense in the paint, paging GR3 that he is a supposed lottery pick and to look at the guy in white who is also a lottery pick and say "play like him".

I still like where we're at.  Got dominated by Sparty and the refs all half and we're down only 6.  In games like this the team that's down a little at halftime usually adjusts and steps up big in the second half.

GRIII and morgan combined for only 16 min in the first half.  i like our chances if they play full minutes in the second half.  plus, irvin's shots will start falling.

I don't see how we can ever win in EL with the way games are officiated there. We have a style of play that typically cannot win when the refs swallow their whistles - see 2012-2013 B1G season vs Tournament performances.

Every time I see him all always think to myself "Gary Harris is a bitch."

That s-curt/mini fro, the stache, the stupid smirk...I just don't like the kid. He can ball, but I literally would put him on my All-Hate team this year. Even more than Craft (who I actually don't hate because his rosey cheeks are pleasant and after 8 years of eligibility I've stopped caring about Craft). 

Harris though. That guy I just can't stand. Or his game that requires him to push off and give little Reggie Miller cheapshots all the time.
