It sure is fun to get excited again.
EDIT: Not about the injury, just the game in general

I've done both. I tore my ACL last year and had double double compound fracture of the tibia and fibula about 10 years ago. I was back playing sports with little performance loss in about six months after the fractures. I am five months post ACL surgery and can't even imagine jumping and cutting in a sports setting one month from now. Bones heal with time a ligament will forever be weaker when replaced.

I have to be that guy but officiating will play a significant part in a Mich Tenn matchup. Our strength is on the perimeter, their strength is more balanced but probably big heavy; if the refs are ticky tacky outside then it is a small advantage to us, if Morgan gets whistled for breathing on their bigs then advantage them. When teams are close in talent and experience officiating can make a significant impact.

I hate watching Big Ten Basketball. The product is aweful because the gaurds are allowed to hand check and then any contest by the big men are called fouls.

I have really enjoyed watching these games. The 2012-2013 team is vastly different than the 2013-2014 team; when the point guard is the best offensive player it completely changes the offensive dynamics. I also forgot how good Mitch was in the tournament and how excited I was when he announced his return. I feel like the chemistry is better and the scoring is more balanced this year but the defense is a little worse and the rebounding without McGary is far inferior.

Quick question for the frisbee chuckers in the group: what type of frisbee do you use? I entered my dog into her first competition last year (we finished in third place) and noticed that many different type of frisbees were used. I personally throw a Dogobie. They are crazy durable, flexible, easy to throw, will not damage the dog’s teeth, and relatively inexpensive. I'm open to trying new options, does anyone have a better disk?

I also have a cabin-fever crazed Border Collie/Australian Shepherd, and she also loves to chase Frisbees in/over/around huge snow drifts. She has great speed, agility, leaping ability (she cleared 46” in a competition), and incredible hand (or mouth) eye coordination all in a small package; that screams Jeremy Gallon to me.

I don't see how we can ever win in EL with the way games are officiated there. We have a style of play that typically cannot win when the refs swallow their whistles - see 2012-2013 B1G season vs Tournament performances.

There is no way this lasts more than two years. The personalities are just too big to coexist.

My calf is so big it feels like it might burst. The blood pools because it is blocked on its return trip. So essentially the symptom is excess swelling without relief over time.

My November to remember included a torn ACL and calf muscle playing basketball. Now I have a blood clot in my leg so surgery is pushed back three months. My primary doctor missed the blood clot, so make sure to ask when something doesn't feel right.

|1 year 8 weeks ago||The point is that||
The point is that inflexibility will lose games and cost coaches jobs. Hoke/Borgess want to run manball with a team that is not best suited for it. I respect that Borgess was somewhat flexible for a couple of years but he needed to find a way to win with the team he has now. I know the interior of the line is young but he has coached for 30+ years, he must have seen some strategy that can minimize that shortfall. He is the third highest paid offensive coordinator, not some guy who was a GA two years ago. Expectations were high for Borgess and Mattison one had succeeded with the talent that he has (and helped recruit it) and other has faltered.
|1 year 8 weeks ago||What happens when you cannot||
What happens when you cannot recruit the players that fit your scheme or the ones you recruit don't pan out or are injured? Occasionally going 3-9 or 5-7 with a couple of 10 seasons here and there is ok at West Virginia our Arizona but this fan base requires more consistency.
RR could have transitioned his offense with Threet and still fully implemented it when Denard arrived. I think this strategy would have probably won a few more games during the black hole years and allowed Dave Brandon to keep him one more year. But because he was an offensive genius and his system was superior, he felt he could make any players work in his system.
|1 year 8 weeks ago||No, we went 3-9 because RR||
No, we went 3-9 because RR didn't know how to use the talent that existed on the team. A good coach can maximize the players that are part of the team. Jim Tressel was a master of that. He won with Craig Krenzel and Troy Smith, two vastly different QBs. If RR was a good coach we could have won more games with Threet, instead he force that square peg in a round hole and told everyone to have patience. In the same manner, Borgess is forcing this team to play his style when that probably isn't the best maximization of talent.
|1 year 8 weeks ago||I was referencing the||
I was referencing the offensive players, but you are making my point for me. Compare the talent of our defense and offense and then view their respective results.
So the answer is three including a fullback (not may FBs are four stars), four if we trot out that new fangled three wide receiver set with Dileo? Funchess was a 247 composite four star.
|1 year 8 weeks ago||Exactly. Winning in college||
Exactly. Winning in college football really comes down to superior talent and/or schematic advantage. In most games we have a talent advantage and a schematic disadvantage. Baylor doesn’t have superior talent, but wins because of their scheme. Alabama wins because of their superior talent.

How many of them have nothing but four and five stars at every other position? I'll save you the time of looking it up; NONE.
|1 year 8 weeks ago||Why the Devin hate? I am sure||
Why the Devin hate? I am sure many of the teams around the county would love to have him on their team. He has talent look at the first few games, he had confidence and played to his ability. A season of poor blocking and inept play calling has destroyed his confidence.
