Tough loss. Fuck this year in Michigan sports.

Calls like that are why I can't be a diehard basketball fan.  Too much of the outcome is in the hands of the officials.

And football is going in that direction w/ pass interference and roughing the passer, etc.

I hate the counter argument that "UM shouldn't have put themselves in that position and then they couldn't have been screwed by the refs."  Games against good teams are going to be close!  That was the best posible position that Michigan could manage agaisnt the nations #1 team, and then a ref hands Arizona 2 free shots to take the lead ... so lame.

I admit I don't recall that.  I believe it, though.  I must have "caught him" when he was doing the Arizona loving which seemed like a lot more to me.  Is there much else, though?  Everytime I expected him to make a point about Michigan's offense it seemed he'd actually go in to something about Arizona's defense; similar things happened a couple times.  It doesn't matter, I've the ability to mute it, but the end interviews he did just seemed to amplify my perception on his 'Zona "lovin'"

You can't remember how many times Beilein has made great adjustments to win games. Dude dismantled some really great teams in the tournament last year and even this year unleashed the 1-3-1 to mount the comeback versus a good FSU team

If you're going to complain about John F'ing Beilein, then literally nothing will make you happy

It's really telling that we outshot them in most categories and still lost. I know rebounding is a big issue there but we had that problem last year and still did really well obviously.

IMO turnovers may have been the difference. I know 11 isn't many but last years team may have only had half that with Burke at PG. If Michigan only had 5 turnovers today they probably win. But we're a young team and will improve. Overall I was pretty impressed with out performance today.

Uneducated fans to stop talking basketball like they know the game. We have yet to be run off the court and have played 4-5 legit tourney teams and 2 teams that are looking at 1 seeds

What you said doesn't have much to do with playing basketball my friend. Talk about some Xs and Os before you call out everyone else.

Facts: we didn't rebound well defensively
Missed free throw by Spike threw off the end of game foul strategy
We are still a work in progress

One of those game you look at and say: "what are ya going to do?" We played the most complete game of the year, and the ball didn't bounce our way at the end. I think the team grew from this.

Notes:
- Lack Of Rebounding
- Hello GRIII
- Still Needed Him Down The Stretch
- Caris LeVert Show
- Bielien is a heck of a coach
- Arizona has serious size

That nickel/dime foul call on McGrady pretty much sealed the game for Arizona. That leaves a more bitter taste in my mouth than blowing an 11-point lead because it's not like the team completely imploded at any one point of the game.

It's fair to say we "blew" an 11 point lead in the second half. Mcgary scored on the first second half possession, there was still just about an entire half to play. Not like KU last year when they had a 14 point lead I think with 6 plus to go.you could use "blew" then, not now. Since this was at home, the selection committee probably looks at this as almost a "wash", if this was at zona, would be a plus.

how you can say the B1G is down...

Ohio State, Michigan State, and Wisconsin are all Top 5

Michigan, Indiana, and Iowa make up a great seconed tier

Third tear, which will still see teams get in the NCAAs: Purdue, Illinois, and Minnesota.

and Nebraska and Penn State are OK and N'Western is bad.  BUT compared to every other conference, Big Ten is by far the best

"Last year's national title game." That says it right there. It's not like we haven't seen any success for the last thirty years. Also, what about the breaks in the win against NW? This is sports, this is what you signed up for.

I don't know what people expect around here, but a national title game eight months ago after one of the best seasons we've had in a very long time, and we're now whining about losing to the number 1 team in the country by 2 points?

Tough loss, could have won it, but good heavens people. The team I saw today looked much better than in previous games. Lots of potential, but I think Walton and Irvin are going to need to grow up a bit more before they're real contenders.

My outlook for the team from the beginning has not changed. This is a sweet 16 team. I am confident that we will make a good run at the B1G championship (probably fall just short).

You have to remember this team is very young and with Beilein, this team will get better and will play best at the tourney.

I am satisfied with what I have seen so far.
