I think both Massey and Sagarin will update sometime in the AM on Monday, so I will be very intrigued to see how far the 32% from Massy for the OSU game moves, among other things. One of the things about these is that I think there is some weight given to previous seasons, so they might look a little conservative right now, and as it stands, they are projecting almost smooth sailing from here on out.

Love it.  Also, Michigan is leading the nation in total defense, scoring defense, passing defense, TFLs, and yards per play allowed.  The country going to hop on the harbaugh train or what?

This season is feeling so 2006. We are like a steamroller plowing towards another steamroller, just waiting for the end of the season. Only this year I think we have a coaching staff who is capable of putting together a great gameplan.

This is probably revisionist history but here we go anyway: these Michigan and OSU teams feel a lot more legit than those 2006 teams who both got schooled in the bowls. I know Michigan is much deeper and better coached than that 06 team and I have to assume Meyer > Tressel too. These feel like teams that could easily go toe-to-toe with the Alabamas of the world

No way.  Sorry to disagree so vehemently but I think the game will be a one score difference throughout with last minute heroics by one team to win it.  Wisconsin is at home, at night, and they have an excellent defense.  This will be a very difficult game for OSU to win.

The strength of our offense is its versatility.  In many ways this is an advantage, because we can morph into whatever scheme that the defense is vulnerable to.  This is legitimately hard to do.  As a result we can demolish teams like Hawaii and Rutgers, as well as teams that overplay one thing, like PSU and UCF.

But one reason why we do that is because we NEED to do that.  Our run blocking is meh and our quarterback is meh, so if you have a defense that's sound in all phases of  the game, as Wisconsin showed, we don't have a way to break it wide open.  It's not an offense that can keep up with the machines they have at Alabama or OSU.

didn't do it.

Playing for the other teams weaknesses is what good coaches do. Perhaps you'd like us to play to their strengths to see how it works out. I'd prefer we do exactly what we're doing. There is a lot of the playbook I'm sure hasn't been seen yet and this team is getting better and better every day.

I know I shouldnt read much into two passes, but both of O'Korn's were right on the money. Speight often forces the WRs to jump up for those short ones. Seeing him step back from center was so quick too. He has more decision time because of it not to mention the obvious ability to run. I'm not wishing for a quarterback controversy midseason, but I observed what I observed.
