Extremely proud of this team - I'll admit I never followed Michigan baseball while I was there but always supported the Tigs and the MLB in general. Now, I wish I had! Regardless, this run has been great to watch and it's been a great blip in Michigan sports in an otherwise barren time of the season!

Shittttt... I'm guilty here. a housemate of mine was on the baseball team...we used to go to Elbel field and chuck a ball around before his practice ...yet I never went to a single game as a student. Shame on me I guess... but what a good look this is if they win it all. Love the idea of having a relevant baseball team like this, especially at this time of year. I hope the program really runs with it.
Hoping this CWS run helps the baseball team gain some traction. The team is composed of a fantastic group of guys that are more than just ball players, but good people too. Easy group to have fun watching, and Bakich is really a great leader.

Almost certainly not, unfortunately. I'm recuperating from a broken leg and don't really feel up to making the trip. Kind of annoying because I promised myself back in 1984 that I was going to go to Omaha next time Michigan was there.
