This is the one part where I disagree with Jalen. Yes, Webber traveled then called timeout. But when Webber got the rebound, Jalen was already headed up the court, leaving Webber by himself in the backcourt. As a point guard, you don't leave your big man hanging like that, not in that situation. You go get the ball, and you bring it up. I don't think Jalen's ever manned up for his responsibility there, and maybe that is the root of all this "we're not friends anymore" stuff. That, or maybe all that money's gone to CWebb's head.

Is anyone surprised that Webber still feels like he did nothing wrong?  I mean, the guy hasn't wanted to be involved in a single UM thing unless it was 100% positive about him and his time at the school.

Jalen should shut the hell up. Could you imagine going through what Chris did? Seriously, put yourself in his position. Fuck Jalen. Just leave the man be.

So you have no evidence.

Webber had zero problems associating with Michigan until the hammer went down on him for the Ed Martin scandal.  He attended several games at Crisler prior to that happening.  I was at one game (against IU) when he sat courtside and received a standing ovation during a break in the action.

Frito's being dramatic, but I have to agree that Chris Webber probably has a few lasting scars from what happened, or at least he did for a long time.  You don't draw the ire of an entire fanbase and directly cost your school a national title without having some serious pain and regret.  That had to hurt like a fucker for a long time.

Adults move on. No, Jalen didn't use as much tact as you'd like, but for how long does he have to put up with the lies from Webber and just shrug his shoulders. Webber has issues, but the only reason this is still a topic of discussion is because a 40 year old man still feels that he needs to lie because he can't admit to himself or the world of his mistakes. That is extremely childish, and I'm sure it is frustrating for those involved.

You really think it's the michigan loss that keeps him up at night and not the Kings being cheated out an NBA finals, or LeBron having his career defining moment against him? Don't be so naive to think Michigan matters that much.

"One dude traveled then called timeout. One dude lied to grand jury and hasn't apologized. One dude tried to circumvent the documentary to HBO. One dude ignored multiple requests from everyone involved after agreeing to participate. One dude played like (President) Obama and sat in a suite during Michigan's recent title game. One dude slandered Ed Martin after all he did for him and his family. One dude is not in contact with the other four (which is all good). One dude has been doing a rebuttal doc for four years. One dude clearly is delusional and still in denial," Rose said of Webber in messages to Larry Brown Sports.

"Congrats on your amazing success! Respect had no price. Man up."

Props to Jalen for finally unloading on him. I'm sick and tired of Webber acting like a victim and never admitting any wrongdoing.

This all goes away with something like "Sorry to UofM and what led to the sanctions I made a mistake when I was a kid..."

Then all this drama goes away and Jalen can put 100% of his efforts into the bring the banners back campaign.

Chris Webber is no better than Dave Brandon. He's a piece of shit who is just concerned with himself.

He shows no remorse, NONE, for what HE did. I've hated him since this pistons game back in the early 2000s.

He was getting booed by the crowd and then he references the timeout at 4:23 mark. Just driving a stake into the hearts of Michigan fans even more than it already was.

And you don't know the guy. It's hard to come out and admit your mistakes. Look at Pete Rose, Barry Bonds, Palmero, and a slew of other athletes who won't admit there there issues. It's not fair to say he's a piece of shit and has no remorse. You know absolutely nothing about the situation except from what u hear.

he not only ate the Pistons but had the audience for dessert in that game. The only thing you can do is bow down and beg for mercy. Wish he would get his shit together, but the guy was one of the greatest to ever play the game.

I've tried to give Webber the benefit of the doubt for years, but I'm done now. After him saying what he did today, and after listening to the Jimmy King interview where Jimmy says Webber agreed to do the Fab Five doc, then didn't return anyone's calls or emails. Jimmy King flat out said Webber is lying about that, and that he has some character flaws. It's pretty clear to me that Webber is a spoiled baby who has some growing up to do. I'll always cherish the memories of the Fab Five on the court; those were some fun times, but at this point, Webber lost me.

Jalen admitted he took money occasionally from Ed in college as did all the other members. Weber took HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of dollars. One of those is not like the other. Why did he even need to do it?
