I might take Hoggard over Smith. And would definitely put in Henry over Brooks if we're okay getting a little weird with the positions.

I don't know. I mean, i don't think anyone would replace any of our starting 5 because the chemistry and unselfish play from each individual. Henry seems like an obvious candidate, but man, he is sooooo streaky. And do you want a guy who keeps chucking shots up when he is cold instead of realizing he is cold that given night and giving it up to other hot players?

I have not seen enough of Hoggard to make an informed judgment. But Smith is playing at a very high level: average defender despite the height and above average PG. Does have a few more TOs than we would like but most of those are trying to make tough passes to set up other guys. I would say about half of HD's dunks come off direct assists from Smith. If Hoggard is better than that, hats off but I have my doubts.
Henry over Brooks possibly but has to be a SG (no way Henry over Franz) and Brooks has substantially upped his game this year (both ends). When I have seen Henry, he is making things happen but many forced/stupid plays also. Not sure that works on a team where there are better offensive options. It's maybe a close call and I could go along but not definite like you think.

Give me Chaundee over Henry for first one off the bench. Chaundee has a much better attitude (and is a better defender and shooter.) I’ve seen maybe 3-4 MSU games and Henry looks like a head case.

Hoggard is still a work in progress. Right now, Smith is pretty clearly the better player.
