I agree with this. I will be lenient and assume Delany is taking the longview on this. Neutral site semifinal and finals are going to be a complete failure. Delany knows that the SEC will not agree to traveling north, but will likely change their mind after pathetic attendance figures. |

Devin should be a fulltime WR. It's likely his best position -- he has the potential to be a first rounder as a WR. Bellomy looks like he'll be at worst a servicable QB that can execute the offense. We have little talent at wide receiver. The chance of Denard and Bellomy getting hurt and Devin getting hurt at receiver is relatively low, while the potential benefits of playing Devin at receiver are so high that it would be foolish not to play him at receiver full time. |

I think you are right that Brian's analysis is flawed (Which I'm sure he'd admit), but both Michigan and Bama would kill the $9.4 million number in both their home games. Michigan also is not filling their schedule with a comparable game in 2013, so there is an opportunity there that lowers the 9.4 baseline a bit. |

Right, so the number they are shooting for is around $9.4 million each game, not $4.7. It's more complicated than that -- there's opportunity costs, etc, but the number ia certainly higher than $4.7. |

I have not crunched the numbers, but a fair analysis would assume that Bama would expect $4.7 million for playing at Michigan (and vice versa). I may not have read Brian's analysis closely enough, but I do not think he took this into account. |

Considering he's getting paid over $300k, it would be hard to justify an extension. |
| 6 weeks 1 day ago | The Big Ten could conceivably |
The Big Ten could conceivably have 4 teams in the preseason top 10. Has that ever happened before? I'm guessing the preseason ranks of the Big Ten teams will be something like: 1. IU 5. Michigan 7. MSU 10. OSU 22. Wisconsin I doubt Minnesota gets ranked up there, even if they'll likely end up being a top 25 team. They're off too many people's radars. Going to be another great year next year for the Big Ten. Hopefully with a bit more tourney success, especially for Michigan. |

Agreed. Maybe I have a cynical view of student athletes, but top end college basketball players are essentially majoring in basketball. If he wants to move with his career, then I cannot knock his decision. What he mostly gains by coming back is guarenteed playing time. His draft stock could just as easily go up as it could go down, and if he's really a borderline 1st rounder, I cannot see how anyone can say this is a horrible decision. |

1. It's really creepy that someone is taking pictures of his (alleged) dorm room and spreading it over the internet. 2. This doesn't really counter the last second change of heart rumor. Maybe he packed earlier yesterday then changed his mind? I still do not have my hopes up, but people are way out of control with their stalking of Trey Burke.

Disagree on McGary. He's going to make a huge impact with his rebounding abilities. Beilein's never had a guy at UM that comes close to McGary's rebounding abilities. I'm also really impressed with his passing and energy. The guy may not be a big post scorer, but that doesn't mean he won't be an impact player. |
