Refresh app a lot and make sure I read every SMS alert I get from @MGoFeed. MGoFeed sends texts out whenever a new thread or post goes up.

I still did the same thing. I was refreshing mgoblog on my iPod touch and got Twitter SMS alerts from @umichfootball and Angelique.
That was back before smartphones were something everyone had. I'm one of the last people who still use the SMS alerts even though I have a smartphone and can go on the Twitter app.

Instead of SMS alerts the Twitter app actually has notifications for a profile, so I just turned those on for MGoFeed.

I can last as long as it takes for us to get a great coach. We should not rush this like Florida and Braska has. We should have a coach by January 1st though so we don't make the same mistake that we did with the last hire being in mid January.

If anything, I feel less of a sense of urgency now that Florida and Nebraska are set. There's a recruiting timeline, yes, but I care much more about getting this right than I care about this (fortunately small) recruiting class. It's nice that the main college competitors are now, what, Kansas (for now), Oregon State, and Colorado State? And then Tulsa?
Hackett should take as long as he needs to get the best guy possible.

I agree, but if it goes on for too long hiring a good OC/DC might get hard. A new coach could get some of those big names out there to be part of the staff. If the search goes too long some of those names would end up at other places.

Completely agree, Any coach that we would want can't possibly be looking at the other open jobs right now. Plus, maybe I have a penchant for self destructive behavior but keeping up with the constant CC threads and speculation is very fun though clearly others disagree.

Yes, Hackett should take his time, but hurry while taking his time. Don't rush, but move with a sense purpose, maybe a little faster.
