Per Harbaugh : possible ACL injury forJeremy Clark

In Harbaugh's presser he said that he suspects Jeremy Clark has an ACL injury and could be done. Tough way to end a career.

IIRC, on the 4th down Penn St went for, Watson was out there and they called TO and subbed him out.

we're playing late Q4. Hill obviously had the fumble return. Long has the ability and temperament to play at this level as a true frosh. Hill is a bit underweight, but a competitor. Give them both plenty of reps if we get Rutgers and IU down early.

Because he played Nickel last year and did just fine. The difference is that in this defense the Nickel covers...last year it was a blitzer/screen busting/edge holder type position. It's a decent thought...but you wouldn't put Furbush in...you'd just play the 4-2-5 we basically already play.

I think Lewis keeps playing nickel. That's a more important spot in CFB. You replace an outside corner.

the 4 games played this year will be 28.7% of the season (4/14), so the four games won't prevent him from coming back. The sixth year issue, however, will still need to be overcome.

I heard Clark was playing golf w/ Ed Davis a few years ago.

Being a great cover corner is a premium need for a defense. Lots of guys can be taught to block on kicks. This is a clusterfuck of a loss for little gain.

He injured his knee changing direction after the play was past him. He could have just as easily torn it playing frisbee or trying to get out of the way of a person on campus. These things happen.
