Harbaugh met with Wheatley at Red Robin tonight

Submitted by MGoVictory on

At 9:55 PM a user posted to the Rivals forums that his boss ran into Harbaugh and Wheatley at Red Robin. His boss was allegedly told, by Harbaugh, that they were finalizing Wheatley's contract. Posters scoffed at the idea of Harbaugh and Wheatley meeting at Red Robin and sharing details regarding the contract with a stranger.

At 11:36 PM a user posted to the Scout forums that his friend took a picture with Harbaugh and Wheatley at Red Robin. Behold:

Maybe the rumors of Wheatley to Michigan being a "done deal" are true.

Even if not, awesome picture.

Funny how all we heard was how Harbaugh is some psycho who wears out his welcome with the players and everybody. The 49ers players seemed upset he was leaving. He takes pictures with fans etc. I don't think he's some guy who's going to be leaving in 4 years like Sparty fans and Bucknuts think.

They probably went to red robin because it's right across the street from all the hotels in Ann Arbor and Ty Wheatley is likely staying at one of them.. I miss red robin clam strips, those were so tasty

Haha this is awesome. I hope the next time I visit Michigan, I walk into White Castle at like 3 am just to see Harbaugh and Durken piss drunk arm wrestling in a booth with the little burger cases laying everywhere lol.

Meanwhile, in the booth behind them, Adam Schefter is snooping and quietly tweeting that Wheatley is actually the one doing the negotiating. He's luring Harbaugh to Buffalo for a 5 year, 45 million dollar deal. The NFL wins.

But in all seriousness, this is what I love about Harbaugh. He's cooky enough to talk contract terms over bottomless fries at Red Robin.
