The Game!!! - Be LOUD!!!

Submitted by SergeantBlue on November 19th, 2023 at 9:27 AM

I posted this two years ago and it worked, in what was one of the greatest Big House environments ever.  This year, I'd expect it to be even better, with the intensity magnified by what everyone knows OSU has done with private investigators and the media nonsense.  The Game is likely to be close.  Home field is especially advantageous in close games.  Scream your head off while the buckeyes have the ball.  Make it hard on them!

BE LOUD!!!  If something goes wrong, BE LOUDER!!!  Their home field has been such an advantage over the years, and there is no reason we can't make this harder for them.  DO NOT SELL YOUR TICKETS!  LAYER YOURSELF UP AND SHOW YOUR MAIZE AND BLUE!  But, if you can't go, do your best not to sell tickets to Buckeyes!  In fact, if you're a house around campus that sells parking, don't sell parking to them either.  Or hot dogs.  Or beers at tailgates.  Make them park in Detroit and walk to the game!  I'm not condoning their forms of hillbilly violence, but I'm all about making their experiences uncomfortable in the most civilized way possible.  Go Blue!!!

If selling tickets, demand to meet in person, demand they wear their fav Michigan gear, and before handing the tickets over, they must sing you a rousing rendition of "The Victors" with proper clapping.

Need to root out those OSU mouthbreathers.

The 2021 game was a sustained volume of EXCELLENCE that I want to hear repeated again!  That was outstanding - from the opening kick to the final gun!  It was loud, consistent, and intimidating.  That is what we need again!

Go BLUE!!!

Win the Game!

If you really want to make it uncomfortable for them, ban coolers at the tailgates.

Well said Sergeant Blue.  Wiish I could be there to support w/ you.  My daughters are coming home for The Game and Thanksgiving, and we are all excited.  This team deserves our support as much as any Michigan team I can recall, if not more so because of how they play, with poise and for each other, and who they are, (not to mention the overly harsh rush to judgment penalty from the B10).   Win the game and Go Blue !

Who would sell their ticket? If you do sell them on the exchange here! Looks like we could see rain-sleet-snow for the game, much like the ‘21 game!

I know Michigan fans are usually not very vulgar, but for God sakes please go to the espn game day and yell the most vulgar shit possible at them as loud as can. Start fuck ESPN chants do whatever. Just make it as uncomfortable as possible for them to do a show

We will be at the game standing and yelling the best our aging selves can do.  For reference, we move our seats this year because farther up = fewer stairs!

But after hearing the Children of Yost bust out a ‘play-er-safe-Ty (clap-clap)’ chant at the hockey game last night, I’m not worried about the gameday set, I think the students will have that covered.

I’m bringing my three daughters with me Saturday and I promise they will be far louder than I could ever be. They earned the trip- good school grades will get you places. Go Blue!!!

So conflicted on this advice outside of the stadium. Goes totally against the golden rule.

But it works. People are actually afraid to go games in Columbus.

I'm doing my part and going back to the same condo in South Carolina I went to 2 years ago. I shall dig the same Go Blue in the sand .. and if we win proudly add the score.
