Im all for it if its not an NCAA violation :)

Ohio State lost at home to msu's backup QB. Anything can happen.

Is Franklin still [not] coaching?

Looks like a snake-oil salesman to me.

If he does, no. If not, yes. MSU won't be able to take PSU off gaurd with their 1950's offensive gameplan. PSU does have a QB and receivers who can--if given time--can beat MSU's secondary. PSU's defense is good enough to stuff MSU's offense without Cook.
November 21st, 2015 at 10:12 PM ^
"if given time" is the key phrase here. M's DL shredded PSU's OL. Sparty's DL will do the same. Hack will (once again) be running for his life.
November 22nd, 2015 at 1:14 AM ^
seems like if MSU is missing Cook, PSU could keep MSU offense in check, but the absolute key is whether PSU o line can hang in there. They'll need to play out of their minds. Could get ugly.
November 22nd, 2015 at 12:56 AM ^
Your fuckin right.
November 22nd, 2015 at 5:10 AM ^
I think Penn State's DL and willingness to pass make this a game. The B1G East is not out of reach yet; thanks for these reminders!

O. That was it. Ohio State shit all over the bed. That is the last time I ever consider rooting for them. We are boned in probably every scenario. It is Citrus Bowl time, unless Nebraska can beat Iowa. That took us out of NY6 in all likelihood. And I think there are some issues in Columbus.
November 21st, 2015 at 7:41 PM ^
If Cook can't play, their offense will struggle. Of course their ol vs. State's dl is a scary matchup.
November 21st, 2015 at 7:41 PM ^
No. MSU DL will pummel Hack worse than we did. I bet Cook will be back and they will have just as much success passing as we did. Also, its in EL I think...Nebraska was on the road.
November 21st, 2015 at 8:02 PM ^
Hack might not make it out of that game with all his limbs. MSUs DL is going to destroy that impotent OL.
November 22nd, 2015 at 8:42 AM ^
to counter the DL aggressiveness when they are locomotivating up the field.
- zip screen, instant toss out to flat to a WR, the other WR tries to jam the DB and create a 1:1 matchup with a block in between
- RB screens, let the DL come thru, QB loops it over to the RB
- the indefensible wheel route, but that takes more time.

Hard to hear the snap count with over 200 people in the student section screaming
November 21st, 2015 at 7:41 PM ^
And Hackenburg let's it rip then maybe there is a slim chance. But I think we all saw that they aren't very good today.
November 21st, 2015 at 7:43 PM ^
Did anyone think Michigan State had a chance to beat Ohio State in Columbus?
November 21st, 2015 at 7:47 PM ^
Not with Connor Cook on the sidline. Maybe that forced Ohio State into a conservative game plan? Bizarre game.
November 21st, 2015 at 9:04 PM ^
It looks like overconfidence mixed with an unwillingness to adjust.
November 21st, 2015 at 8:51 PM ^
I did. I called it. It was OSU's first real test.
November 21st, 2015 at 7:42 PM ^
They definitely have a shot. They have a blueprint of what NOT to do against them from OSU, and they may be angry after their loss today.
November 21st, 2015 at 7:42 PM ^
Sparty obviously will be favored, but if Cook doesn't play it'll be a low scoring game, where turnovers could decide the winner
November 21st, 2015 at 7:43 PM ^
A chance? Yes. A realistic chance? I don't think so.
November 21st, 2015 at 7:44 PM ^
I dont care, it's the hate week, we beat OSU, then see how it pan out. I didn't even watch the OSU game. It doesn't matter. Let's just win!
November 21st, 2015 at 7:44 PM ^
Yes they have a chance.
November 21st, 2015 at 7:44 PM ^
At some point Hack needs to rise above the pressure and shred somebody.
November 21st, 2015 at 7:44 PM ^
Yes...lets be honest - they had a pretty decent shot to beat Michigan today so of course they have a chance to beat MSU. Failure in the red zone killed PSU today but I was pretty nervous in the 4th quarter.

PSU has an off chance of winning. Really they'd need to take the reins off and just bomb it downfield over and over. That's MSU's weakness and also Hack's strength. But if they keep kicking field goals from the 1 they are screwed.

you can bet they'll run Barkley into the line 60 times next week, probably somehow still have a chance to win in the last minute, and manage to accidentally run the clock out without running a play
