I suggest that all future…

I suggest that all future CFP final games be held at The Big House.  Largest stadium, most intelligent fan base, and home of the all-time leader in wins, our Michigan Wolverines!  Seems like a no brainer.

Not worried about this at…

Not worried about this at all.  In the unlikely situation that OSU gets in, we'll beat their ass one more time.

90 percent of Bucknut fans…

90 percent of Bucknut fans are OSU fan #2.  98 percent of Sparty fans are OSU fan #2.

Six months after the draft,…

Six months after the draft, I will say that the original post was the worst take ever.  Gibbs, LaPorta, Campbell and Branch all are exactly what the Lions were hoping they'd be.  Sorsdal looks like a steal.  Seriously, the OP is exactly why you don't read a few mock drafts and pretend like you know more than an NFL GM.

Commissioner, here is our…

Commissioner, here is our offer: Nothing!  And we would appreciate it if you would personally pay all of our legal fees.

Pretty sure that the Lions' management and coaches know exactly what they are looking for in prospects.  How many of the draft "experts" have ever been employed by a NFL franchise?  The truth is, we won't know if any of these picks are good or bad for a couple of years, at least. Brad Holmes has a pretty solid draft history, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Here's what I know for sure:…

Here's what I know for sure:  Brad Holmes's draft board will not look anything like Mel Kipers, or any other "draft expert".  The Lions are looking only at players that fit their system and culture.  They want guys who live to play football, have high character, and want to succeed through hard work.  Some of the players that people are mentioning here won't even be on the Lion's draft board.

Wordle is too easy.  Try Quordle (which isn't really all that hard either, to be honest)

Agree with everything you…

Agree with everything you said Salvatore, except that Houston is more a situational pass-rushing DE.  Need to add a DT, maybe 2, in this offseason.

Everybody has their own…

Everybody has their own tastes, but I've been to A2's Chop House 3 times, and I've had 3 excellent meals.

I've never missed a NCAA…

I've never missed a NCAA final game, until this year.  Just had zero interest in watching 2 $EC semi-pro teams battle it out.

1) Don't go to H&R Block.  If you absolutely have to, call ahead and make an appointment with an Enrolled Agent with AT LEAST 5 years experience.

2) If your tax preparer is only putting numbers into a computer, you need a new preparer.  Tax planning is part of the job.

3) Is a good preparer worth the money? Obviously, I'm biased, but I save my clients money regularly, often much more than I charge them in fees, so my answer is ABSOLUTELY.

1) Schedule D is for the…

1) Schedule D is for the sale of capital assets.  Unless you purchased these season tickets strictly as an investment, You should be using Schedule C to deduct your cost/expenses.  Your annual seat donation is not a deductible cost.

2) As these new 1099 requirements will affect thousands(millions?) of individuals, expect the IRS to come out with some guidance as to the reporting of this type of income.  They may introduce a new schedule to attached to your 1040.

3) My guess is that any net losses will not be allowed, but again, I'd wait to hear what the IRS guidance says.

P.S.- yes, I'm an Accountant

The recruiting services can…

The recruiting services can't measure how hard a guy is going to work, and how bad he "wants it".  Bell and Haskins may have had normal measurables, but they both have off-the-charts desire to be great.

These decisions ALWAYS…

These decisions ALWAYS,ALWAYS, ALWAYS come down to one thing - Money.  Grouping the teams into geographic divisions saves teams and their fans money.  Having a mediocre (competitive) West division keeps all of those teams, and their fans, engaged, resulting in more ticket sales, merchandise, etc. Until it makes financial sense for the Big Ten to realign divisions, there will be no change.

I'm amazed by how little…

I'm amazed by how little confidence our fans have against the Buckeyes  this coming Saturday,  Yes, I know that they've had our number the past several years, but Vegas has this as a 7 point game.  I believe that this is Harbaugh's best team, we're playing in the Big House, and the Bucknuts haven't faced a pass rush like ours all season.  Hell, Oregon beat them Turds, in Columbus, without their stud pass-rusher.  We do NOT have to play a perfect game to win, IMHO.  Just win the turnover battle, and I like our chances.

Michigan can absolutely beat…

Michigan can absolutely beat the Buckeyes.  The key is to score touchdowns once we reach the red zone. Settling for field goals will result in a loss.

I've played all of those…

I've played all of those courses, and they're all nice. I'd order them: 1)Forest Dunes / the Loop,  2)Tullymore and St Ives, 3) Eagle Eye.  JMHO

The Social Dilemma…

The Social Dilemma definitely opened my eyes. We're all being manipulated to some degree. My wife and I are actually ending our Facebook accounts today.

True, the death rate is…

True, the death rate is declining, BUT, many cases are experiencing negative long-term health problems. As time goes on, more and more of these problems are becoming apparent.  If anything, Covid-19 is a much bigger problem than is being reported, with one or more waves yet to come.

Agree on Saquon and Hopkins. I expect both Evans and Godwin's numbers to decline this year.  I know- Brady is better than Winston, but Brady will throw to his RB's and TE's much more often.

I had the chopped steak at Ponderosa, AND it came with an all-you-can-eat salad bar!!  Top that, bitches!!!!

If the top recruits go directly to the G-league each year, I say, good riddance. It won't stop anybody from watching college basketball.

And if there hadn't been a concerted effort by the people and governments of the world to control this thing, there would've been millions of deaths from coronavirus.

His first response was that coronavirus was a hoax, started by the Democrats and media. Fox "news" reported this for several days, before changing their tune after his somber press conference. Now, they both claim that they took it seriously from the start.  Some of us remember the full story though.

After 8 years in sections 15 - 17, I decided not to renew this year.  I still plan on attending 2-3 games, but just decided to pass on renewing for the season.

How many passes did Shea…

How many passes did Shea throw down field 30+ yards? He had open receivers, just kept overthrowing them. 2020 success will depend on finding a replacement that will hit those throws. I hope Joe Milton is that guy.

Bob Quinn will take a lineman.. Guaranteed.

Justin Fields was asked what…

Justin Fields was asked what he thought about OSU's campus and said that he's heard that it's nice, but he's never actually seen it as he takes all of his classes online.  WHAT???  So, on his official visit, they basically told him that he'd never have to go to class. Anybody who thinks that he is actually doing his own coursework, I'd like to sell you a bridge that I own.  Contrast that to a Michigan player.  Not saying that they have the same requirements as a normal student, but I've seen several UM players suspended because of academic issues.   As much as I hate losing to those a-holes, I don't want to stoop to their level.

My first impression is that…

He's 20 years old, kicking in front of the biggest crowd in America, and usually millions more watching on TV.  How would any of the posters here do in that situation?  Hell, I've missed 3 foot putts because of nervousness and I'm a 3 handicap.  He still has time to figure it all out, and there's a good chance that he will do just that.

RedWing fans, including…

RedWing fans, including myself, would have absolutely skewered Ken Holland if he'd picked Seider at 6 overall. Stevie being held to a different standard. I understand that the RW organization badly needs defensmen, but I hate that pick.

I do believe this will force…

I do believe this will force our defense to adjust also, by playing more zone coverage.  Don Brown has always wanted to limit the number of plays that his defense is on the field. Increasing the pace of the game will result in more plays on both sides of the ball.  Hoping DB can be just as effective teaching some new concepts .

My experience with Direct TV…

My experience with Direct TV has not been the same as Boner's.  After being a good customer of 2 years, they started raising my rates significantly. Four months ( and 4 long phone calls) later, I finally had enough of they're lying and cancelled  Their customer service is the WORST.

Winning today will be a good thing, in the long run. The 5th pick in the 2018 draft signed for $27.6 million .The 8th pick signed for $18.7 million . I would much rather have the 8th pick . Top 5 get the big deals .

 You can pretty much tell…

You can pretty much tell which commenters on this thread have personal integrity.  When Michigan starts acting like the Bucknuts, I will look for another team to root for.

I always think it's comical…

I always think it's comical when a fan stands up at the game and directs a negative comment towards one of our players.  You realize that he can't hear you, right?  And that everyone around you now thinks you're an idiot?  And he's out there, busting his ass to play his best. And he's 20 years old, playing in front of 110,000 people, plus television viewers.  And your idiotic comment is not helping in any way. So, if any of this applies to you, please, lighten the F up, Francis!!

Section 17, row 50s.  Sun at my back.  End zone prices.  B-BAMM!!!!

How many of Harbaugh's…

How many of Harbaugh's recruits have gotten into trouble over the years? At Michigan or Stanford.  Damn few.  How about Urban Meyer?  Too many to count .The truth is that the Bucknuts have different standards for their recruits than we do. Academics and personal character factor into the equation at Michigan.  I personally am glad that they do.  Michigan's program is what college football is supposed to look like .

I trust the coaching staff…

I trust the coaching staff. They are looking for talent, character, and guys who will work hard and continue to improve. Some recruits just do not check all of those boxes .

Demand is UP

I agree that waiting to buy tickets is a good strategy, but the demand for tickets is going up each year (Harbaugh) and prices are a reflection of the demand.  Those last minute deals are going to be harder to find this year, and in the future.
