Before the season started, I was afraid we might have to go for it on most 4th downs because we didn't have a kicker. Allen has gone 11/14 and boots nearly every kickoff for a touchback.
It has to be the players. Two different coaching staffs have not been able to fix guys like Green or Kalis and we all know Wheatley/Drevno are some of the best coaches in the game.
Or they can just hire Kevin Wilson from Indiana. I know Jamie Mac mentioned this on the mgoblog podcast, but it makes perfect sense for Maryland. He can get better recruits at Maryland and they want to be like Oregon. Why not hire a guy that runs a crazy fast offense.
I'm surprised Oklahoma jumped Iowa, but it does make sense since they have a tougher schedule. I'm just glad the committee actually cares about how you play and who you beat (see Florida falling).
We are due for a win against Sparty and we haven't won in Columbus since Drew Henson was our starter. I think next season is when everything comes together. This year was about learning how to win on the road, next year is when we take it up another notch.
It was, but the official capacity went down to 107,601 after installing hand railings and widening the aisles. We'll have to expand the stadium in order to break the record.
We have two 5 star running backs who are not getting much playing time and neither one has been complaining in public. Elliott goes off on the coaching staff after one bad game.
It's HD channel 382 on Comcast, but you need to upgrade to digital preferred TV (which is $9.99 more per month). Total BS, the same thing happened a few years ago when one of our games was on Universal HD.
I have the Comcast sports package and it doesn't even include the SEC Network or CBS Sports Network. They told me I had to upgrade to digital preferred to get it.
Kelly, now with the Philadelphia Eagles, did however receive an 18-month show-cause penalty, meaning any university that hires him will have to present its justification to the NCAA Committee of Infractions before doing so. Unless Kelly bombs after just one season with the Eagles and he seeks an entry back into the college game, this won't be an issue.
Watch at 14:35... players think it helps when their coach has their back and supports them publicly. You can clearly tell it has helped Rudock. Harbaugh will never say "Bolden is not good". I remember when RR publicly criticized our kickers and we never had much of a kicking game while he was here.
Also, we played our first five games at home and had a 2-2 road record. Harbaugh's team went undefeated on the road (in the B1G) for the first time since 1997. The only away win for Hoke was against Northwestern. It seemed like we could never beat a good team on the road. Harbaugh has changed that in year one.
I would like to see a message board like ShaggyBevo. Easy to navigate with separate sections to discuss football, basketball, recruiting and other stuff.
According to JUB (on the Jamie Morris show this morning), the Rose Bowl would take a 10-2 Michigan team over Iowa.
Beat OSU and I'll be happy with either the Rose, Fiesta or Peach Bowl. You also have to remember, Iowa still has to play at Nebraska so it's not a given they go 12-1.
I'm sure our players from Ohio (like Bolden, Kalis, Butt and Henry) will be more than motivated to get their first win against them. Remember, the majority of our roster is 0-3 against Urbz and they don't wanna blow this opportunity to celebrate a huge home win.
Their schedule was really soft and they finally crumbled when they played a team with good lines. They also gave up over 200 rushing yards against Minnesota so it's not like they've had a dominant defense all year. If we can somewhat stop their run game, I can see us forcing Barrett into making mistakes. Our secondary is the best unit he will face all year. On the other side, they have not faced a team with a good passing game and that has become our strength.
It was never interesting under Rich Rod. It was interesting when Carr was playing against Cooper because they had top ranked teams and we ruined their season.

The white basketball jersey is a classic...

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here and I agree with Marvin 100%. At times life can be cruel, but having a place like MGoBlog helps us get through it.
He was there for one year in 1945.

Bo describing the play and praising Harbaugh gave me goosebumps.
Infinite Flow 2nd.
He not only bleeds maize and blue, but he loves Michigan tradition!
Imagine how pissed they'll be if they lost two in a row, with both losses coming to teams from that state up north.

They beat Stanford and the committee loves Stanford.
It's never an easy task playing a night game in Happy Valley. Even last year, they needed OT to beat them.
Do they still sell Michigan bowl ornaments? I still have the Rose and Orange Bowl ones.
Probably the best announce team in college football. Blackledge doesn't get enough credit, I think he's way better than Spielman.
Still miss Keith Jackson...
Maybe he was trying to say Rudock would pass Harbaugh on the single season passing yards list. He needs 253 yards on Saturday...
But it's these types of crap articles, with clear biases, that make it hard to take print journalism seriously.
Print journalism? cleveland.com is Ohio's version of MLive.
That's because Kentucky has Vince Marrow.

That loss cost us a share of the Big Ten title.
EDIT - (unrelated, but just glanced at Game Notes on mgoblue. Nessler and Blackledge calling The Game, for anybody who was wondering).
Thanks...we finally got a good announce team!

Herman lost to UConn on Saturday. I doubt LSU offers him the job. You don't fire Les Miles unless you have someone like Jimbo Fisher lined up.

And coached by Adam Sandler.

It can't be that hard to add retired numbers and championship years on the skyboxes...
I would like to see statues (with the players info on them) like at Joe Louis Arena:
Which is why I think a gofundme page would be an easier way to raise more money. It works well for the HTTV magazine.

I would love to play in the Peach Bowl. Just plz no Outback or Citrus bowl.
I wanted us to be the team to end their 23 game winning streak.
We better win next week or 9 wins won't mean much after going 0-2 against our rivals.
And James Franklin is still coaching PSU. There's 0.00000 chance they beat Sparty with that crappy coaching staff.
Minnesota had over 200 rushing yards against OSU. Their rush defense is not that good.
