OSU opened at -2.5 v. UM, quickly moved to UM -1.5; MSU opens at -1.5 v. PSU

OSU +1.5 @ Michigan

PSU +1.5 @ Michigan State

All 3 teams - Michigan, OSU and MSU - NEED a win next week, and according to the gamblers these games are both virtual tossups.

In all seriousness, why is everyone at my work writing off Penn State?

MSU has went down to the wire in 5 of their 7 BigTen games this season.  Penn State is certainly better than Rutgers and Purdue who both took MSU down to the wire.

I say there is a decent chance Penn State takes MSU down to the wire and if that happens all Penn State needs is a lucky bounce.

Hackenberg, Zettel, Nassib and all will need to play above themselves and in spite of Franklin. If that was truly Penn State's best shot they gave us at home on Saturday I don't see them improving on that performance on the road to a Dantonio team, Cook or no Cook.

Unfortunately, I think we may have concussed their starting QB too.

Purdue plays like crap on the road (0-5) and yet they played MSU down to the wire in East Lansing.  Rutgers plays like crap at home (2-4, with wins over Norfolk State and Kansas) and yet they played MSU down to the wire.

I am not saying Penn State will play MSU close, just that worse teams have done it, MOST BigTen teams have done it (5 of 7 this year) and so Penn State has a realistic chance of doing it.
