DeAnthony Arnett chooses USC?? 'Trojan for Life'
November 2nd, 2010 at 7:50 PM ^
Is that actually a commitment? I mean, if it is, thank the Lord, I was starting to worry that he was leaning towards East Lansing
EDIT: Ah, I see your edit. He's posted stuff like this before, this may just be momentum after a good visit this past weekend
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:46 PM ^
Pretty sure he posted a "Go Blue" recently too - maybe after one of the coaches visited him in the bye week. I wouldn't put much stock in this.

Probably in reference to visiting Boise . . .

I'm really starting to think that he may be the "surprise" visitor to this weekends game vs Illinois. Tom keeps saying that there is a secret visitor and Arnett just said that there is a 3rd visit he is going to take that is going to surprise a lot of people...
November 3rd, 2010 at 12:23 AM ^
I think the surprise was that he is going to visit Boise State.
November 2nd, 2010 at 7:50 PM ^
Is USC still really that appealing of a place to play right now?
November 2nd, 2010 at 7:56 PM ^
It's still in southern California, unless I'm mistaken.
November 2nd, 2010 at 7:58 PM ^
Life sucks in Southern California
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:15 PM ^
Too bad this is the real SoCal and this is closer to where USC is at than the beach. To get to your picture you have to drive an hour and a half to get 20 miles.
LA Blows!
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:18 PM ^
....like this isn't fun.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:53 PM ^
I was reading an article on cities facing potential water shortages. They were all sunbelt cities and most of them had increased their population by 20% or more in the last decade. Except for LA which had only gone up by 3.7%. Their population spurt is slowing down.
November 2nd, 2010 at 11:02 PM ^
That's the 405 just south of the 10. USC is south of downtown just west of the 110.
That's actually closer to the beach. It's about 4 miles to the Santa Monica beach, 5 miles to Venice Beach. USC is about an 11 mile drive from there.
November 2nd, 2010 at 11:45 PM ^
My bad. I was off by 4 miles. I lived in Pasadena for 3 years and it was hell. Never live in that state again thats for sure.
November 3rd, 2010 at 6:55 PM ^
Small sample size.
I live in a much better small sample size - west of PCH in Hermosa Beach. I do what I can to stay west of PCH (ideally) and the 405 (practically) as much as possible.
That results in a lot of this.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:01 PM ^
If you like USC, 99% of why you would attend USC otherwise still applies. You just don't get to play in a Bowl Game for your first few years. Which is too bad until you realize that part of that appeal is you get to travel to pleasant warm weather destinations...like southern California. During those seasons you practice for something like 4 fewer weeks, which lets you focus on finals and other parts of the student-athlete experience.

Even 1" tire tread doesn't last that long.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:04 PM ^
or does kiffin look way too much like tosh.0
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:05 PM ^
But Tosh's got a lot more class than Kiffin, it simply can't work.

Tosh may have more class, but he doesn't have Layla.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:25 PM ^
Also Daniel Tosh didn't need Monte Tosh to get him where he is.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:05 PM ^
don't trojans prevent life?
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:06 PM ^
I wonder if it was the football program or ladies that grabbed his attention.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:10 PM ^
Reggie gets Kim K to put out for these recruits. Arnett waxed some and was sold!
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:17 PM ^
I don't think Reggie and the university are that tight anymore...
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:26 PM ^
undisclosed restitution
November 2nd, 2010 at 11:20 PM ^
or undisclosed prostit.....? Oh, you know what I mean. USC has the Number 1 program in this!
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:37 PM ^
is certainly not 'tight' anymore either.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:57 PM ^
USC's recievers, those that play anyway, get a lot of passes thrown their way. Barkley will be there next year at least and anybody that comes in after him should be talented. I am not sure if MSU can say the same.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:58 PM ^
Reggie and Kim are that tight anymore either. In fact, none of the aforementioned parties are tight with any of the other aforementioned parties.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:17 PM ^
Edit: Never mind. Helps to look at the picture in the link.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:07 PM ^
Terry Richardson had this to say in response:
"bro put in a good word for me with the trojans they recruitng me bro im interested hit me up asap"
November 2nd, 2010 at 10:26 PM ^
The next poster to bring negative information to the board will incur a negbang grudge from me. Bad news is driving me insane
November 2nd, 2010 at 10:01 PM ^
Great choice. Awesome place, he'll get way better just from the practices against other 5 star talent, and I hate to break it to everyone Kiffin is a really good offensive mind.
LA rules.
November 3rd, 2010 at 12:05 AM ^
I guess I will half agree with you. Kiffin certainly is offensive.
November 2nd, 2010 at 11:04 PM ^
No durex for him.
November 2nd, 2010 at 11:23 PM ^
this guy almost got screwed!

this guy almost got screwed!
November 3rd, 2010 at 5:48 AM ^
I thought that notion died away a while ago. Didn't he make it pretty clear a long time ago he doesn't want to play in a spread offense, instead preferring a pro-set offense?
November 3rd, 2010 at 6:53 PM ^
MSU runs a pro-set. They have owned Saginaw for years. However, SC is hard to beat with the weather and the girls.
Ronald Johnson probably did quite a sell job on Arnett.
