Interesting thought: Any chance GRIII's timidness of creating his own shot is a byproduct of the requirements of his position? Perhaps he thinks the 1, 2, and 3s are supposed to be the shot-creators and he doesn't want to work outside of the expectations of the position?
Just a theory. Wonder if some time at the 3 could change this mindset? I doubt he ever plays anything but the 4, but it sure would be a fun experiment!
I mean, I know NFL teams and draft experts have different expectations and projections, but the draft experts had him going around the 4th round. Regardless, the fact they were lucky enough to have Lavonte David drop to them, and they passed on him really upsets me. And now we have Levy and Durant with expired contracts. And it really is all Titus Young's fault and the Lions for picking him. A waste of two 2nd round picks... ugh.
I think they are unable to cut him at this moment due to some NFL rules. However, they should look into releasing him when they are allowed to. He is a waste of two draft picks. His own, and then reaching for Broyles last year. Could've had Lavonte David :( :(
I beat Final Fantasy 3 on my phone via the SNES emulator. A few years ago, I would've thought something like that would've been impossible. Thanks, science.
You gotta figure out a way to stand out. What makes you different than mgoblog or the bleacher report or whatever. Offer something that no one else does. Create and perfect your niche. I never did any of that (nor did i really want to) which is why i had no readers. Godspeed!
I think that Wisconsin will be fine. Beilema is great at building a program, and Wisconsin will be an appealing coaching spot for someone with a strong running philosophy. Everything's already in place. If they find the right guy, Wisconsin will be what they normally are (8-9 win team).
I like Seths team so far. Not because of denard, but because he has two first round defensive tackles on his team with a bevy of pass rushers still available.
I agree. I love Sean McD. I actually wrote a blog post (link below) about the best announcers, and I put him 3rd for the exact reason you just said. He is great at showing emotions at the appropriate times.
Columbus as a city is pretty terrible. Ohio Stadium (although people hate to admit it) is really nice. I went in '06 and '10, so between that and the other 5 Michigan away games I've attended in which they lost, I will not be going. I need to break my road losing streak before I attempt another game at the Horseshoe. 0-7 all time is quite awful. But at least I was finally able to attend a win over OSU. That was fun.
I thought this last album did just that. Sure, there are some songs that are generally goofy, but "Rize of the Fenix" (among others) was just a really good rock song.
Although that is true, aren't they hurting themselves by being so open about revealing the results? People are purposefully avoiding websites and channels like ESPN because they know they are updating everything as it happens. I wonder if it balances out that way.
I think NBC can avoid this by showing EVERYTHING as it happens. I know they want to put the bigger stories (Phelps, women's gymnastics) in primetime, but nothing would be stopping them from doing that anyway. If Phelps is swimming at 11 am EST, show him at 11 am EST and replay it at 8pm for those who missed it.

Any chance the schedule will adjust to get MSU/OSU at the Big house in opposite years, ideally by MSU visiting Ann Arbor in back to back years?
AAAAHHHHHH the French

This all started when ESPN claimed Secretariat was the 35th best athlete of all time. Dammit ESPN...
"Memento" Christopher Nolan. Highly recommend.
You're welcome!
Am I the only Michigan fan who sees that Zeller DID do that to himself and then overreacted since he got hit in the belly button?

Thanks. The whole 'height' vs. 'weight' thing...English!
Is it "Spate" or "Spite"?
Best year-round beer of all time. Of all time.

Seriously. Say no to Jarvis Jones. He might have to retire in 2 years.
Bjoern Werner, DaMontre Moore, Dee Milliner. That's it. No one else. Maybe Luke Joeckel if he somehow falls.

You beat me to it, but I agree with what you said

I just wish they gave him more props than just being a 3-point shooter. His all-around game has been a pleasant surprise.
The logo isn't loading. Just a weird blue shape with a yellow "loading" signal.
There are GLI tickets on groupon. Not surprising or anything. Just adding that to the conversation.
I had Rosentraub. He knows his stuff.

Any chance you have a better version of this (2008 UM-NW):
Red Stag.
Lot more prevalent than you might think.
Trust me, do not throw stones at Beckman.
All back-ups. Everyone who is a back-up should start. Duh.
Nick Saban is here to talk about fairness, you guys...
Grant Niemiec was the best player on the field on friday night, IMO.
Jalen Watts-Jackson wasn't half-bad either.
Juuuuust a bit outside...
Puppy bowl!
Call me crazy, but I think they are trying to speed up the development of Jack Miller so Ricky Barnum would be the back-up OT.
Based on Seth's very smart "build your defense from the inside out," I assume he will be taking Kovacs next (or OSU's Barnett).
...Is Heiko ok?

Giving a little love to No Use For A Name, as their lead singer recently passed away at the young age of 41.
That, and Tenacious D's new album. For those of you who have heard it, do you think of the Ohio River when Jack Black sings "Rivers of Brown"?

As long as the socks arent Twin City. They are too soft to do any damage, and you wouldn't want to waste a quality pair of socks on that butt flap.
How about 15 year old Champion knee-highs?
I concur with the angry mob above me.
You deserve three whole-hearted "Come on, Bro's"
