Recruit everything but a QB. If only he had QB. Made the most with running back at QB. Couldn't quite get the wide receiver at QB to work though. I like Hoke more than most on this board.

You say a RB and WR at QB, but you fail to give them any credit for being good QB's. Here are the Michigan stats for all eternity - check the passing and passing TD top 10 lists.

Both DRob and Gardner are on those lists. They were really good QB's for the system they were good in. Don't ask either to stand in for Tom Brady - but also don't ask Brady to do what they did.

Well it's sure a good thing Hoke's replacement was able to recruit so many more QBs, 9 of them to be exact!
Rudock, O'Korne, Shea, Malzone, Gentry, Peters, McCaffrey, Milton, McNamera. Funny thing is, in Harbaugh's best year, 2016, the team was lead by a Hoke QB, and mostly Hoke recuits.

Hoke could recruit, develop and coach d-line. He can come back as d-line coach and co-dc (assuming the other dc is calling the shots) any day.

Hoke not a coordinator. He's a CEO type head coach, who can recruit and manage the program, but delegates playcalling to his assistants. Hence the lack of headset.
