Chances of non-all white uniforms vs Wisc?

I give it a 99% chance Michigan wears all white, again for their road game vs Wisc.

The school colors are maize and blue, not "white and more white."

Away uniforms need more of the school's colors.  I wish they would go back to the white jersey, yellow pants uniform they used for roughly 40 years.

I also wouldn't mind seeing white jerseys, with blue pants.  I have never seen UM play using that color-scheme.  As far as I know, UM has never played an official road game using white jerseys with blue pants.

This makes me laugh. And THINK.

Is it "broke?"

Does Michigan lose more when wearing white jerseys and white pants?

From 2015-2019, the answer is YES. Of Michigan's 14 total regular season losses, 9 were away losses that presumably featured our all-whites (I did not confirm).

I thought the Harbaugh-era whites looked good against Utah in 2015, but haven't really cared for them since. Consider me aboard the "bring back the maize pants for away games" bandwagon.

Somewhere between the odds of an asteroid the size of Texas no one has noticed hitting Earth tomorrow at precisely 9:15 AM, and the odds too many IPAs make me bloated and gassy tonight. Right in there somewhere

For what little it is worth, I miss seeing the maize pants on the road as well.  Win the game and I will be happy the whole week after at least.

Yeah, well, the colors aren't maize and white (which look like a$$ together) either.

I'd be open to that.

Michigan's road uniforms will always be challenging, as they'll be compared to the best uniforms (home ones) in college football.

Frankly, I like the white-on-white uni’s because they’re a throwback to the days when QB Ricky Leach would actually the pull the ball and run it for a first down. As a freshman. Starting the first game of the season. AT WISCONSIN. It was the kind of stuff that eventually put him (and Michigan) on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

Your post reminded me about Ricky Leach, what a BAMF. I knew he was an ironman at QB, but I looked it up and was still surprised:

As a freshman, he started 11 of 12 games for the 1975 team for an 8-2-2 record and #8 ranking in the final AP poll. He rushed for 552 yards on 113 carries and passed for 680 yards as a freshman.

As a sophomore, he started all 12 games and led the 1976 team to a 10-2 record and #3 ranking in the final AP poll. He passed for 973 yards and 13 touchdowns and rushed for 638 yards and 10 touchdowns on 114 carries in 1976.

As a junior, he started all 12 games at quarterback and led the '77 team to a 10-2 record and #9 ranking in the final AP poll. He passed for 1,348 yards and 15 touchdowns and rushed for 375 yards and seven touchdowns on 106 carries.

As a senior, he again started all 12 games at quarterback and led the '78 team to a 10-2 record and #5 ranking in the final AP poll. He passed for 1,283 yards and 17 touchdowns and rushed for 611 yards and 12 touchdowns on 145 carries.

Leach shattered all Michigan's career passing, total offense and touchdown records. He set an NCAA record for most touchdowns accounted for (82) and broke Big Ten records for total offense (6,460 yards), total plays (1,034), and touchdown passes (48).

Those were the days.  One of the best ever.  All American in football and baseball.  All of those carries and he only failed to start ONE GAME. Today, it seems like QB's typically cannot make it through the year even though they are more protected and usually run less.

I’m not an artist by any means but what about blue pants with like gashes of maze going across the thighs. Like a wolverine clawed them. You could imagine what it would be like
