Chances of non-all white uniforms vs Wisc?
I give it a 99% chance Michigan wears all white, again for their road game vs Wisc.
The school colors are maize and blue, not "white and more white."
Away uniforms need more of the school's colors. I wish they would go back to the white jersey, yellow pants uniform they used for roughly 40 years.
I also wouldn't mind seeing white jerseys, with blue pants. I have never seen UM play using that color-scheme. As far as I know, UM has never played an official road game using white jerseys with blue pants.

Dollars to doughnuts they're wearing all-whites.

I want to see white jerseys with blue pants...
Like the Will Johnson pictures I see so often...

I guess I should've read the OP all the way through, lol.
I'll just seconded that notion in the OP instead.

Worth saying twice. That would be badass.
October 1st, 2021 at 5:51 PM ^
If its broke fix it.
Why not?
October 1st, 2021 at 9:01 PM ^
This makes me laugh. And THINK.
Is it "broke?"
Does Michigan lose more when wearing white jerseys and white pants?
From 2015-2019, the answer is YES. Of Michigan's 14 total regular season losses, 9 were away losses that presumably featured our all-whites (I did not confirm).
I thought the Harbaugh-era whites looked good against Utah in 2015, but haven't really cared for them since. Consider me aboard the "bring back the maize pants for away games" bandwagon.
October 1st, 2021 at 10:39 PM ^
That’s just another way of saying that we lose more on the road than at home.
Wearing the maize pants didn’t make us road warriors under RR or Hoke, either. IIRC we also wore them for one of our PSU losses under Harbaugh.

Somewhere between the odds of an asteroid the size of Texas no one has noticed hitting Earth tomorrow at precisely 9:15 AM, and the odds too many IPAs make me bloated and gassy tonight. Right in there somewhere
October 1st, 2021 at 8:25 PM ^
I like your odds.
October 1st, 2021 at 5:54 PM ^
The all-whites are probably the best of their monochromatic schemes.
October 1st, 2021 at 7:41 PM ^
Easily. The all blue were so boring
October 1st, 2021 at 8:23 PM ^
Who cares if they keep winning with them on . I hope we all Maize tomorrow
October 1st, 2021 at 8:30 PM ^
I don't think there's anything more boring than white.
October 2nd, 2021 at 7:31 AM ^
Mauve is scientifically more boring
October 1st, 2021 at 5:58 PM ^
I don't give 2 shits what they wear, as long as they win the game...
October 1st, 2021 at 6:04 PM ^
Totally agree.
This ain't intramurals or a fashion show.
It's football!
October 1st, 2021 at 7:31 PM ^
I think you mean "FOOTBAW!"
October 2nd, 2021 at 7:35 AM ^
You mean FOOLSBAW.
October 1st, 2021 at 11:29 PM ^
Although if the team gives two shits, they probably should avoid the white pants.
October 1st, 2021 at 5:58 PM ^
The all-whites make me irrationally angry, whereas the all-runs-into-a-loaded-box make me rationally angry.
Or is it the other way around?
October 1st, 2021 at 5:59 PM ^
Word on the street is they will not be wearing white pants tomorrow. Please let that be true.
October 1st, 2021 at 6:35 PM ^
What street?
October 1st, 2021 at 8:50 PM ^
State St.
October 1st, 2021 at 6:02 PM ^
For what little it is worth, I miss seeing the maize pants on the road as well. Win the game and I will be happy the whole week after at least.
October 1st, 2021 at 6:04 PM ^
I would love white on blue. Of course I would like a win even more.
October 1st, 2021 at 10:40 PM ^
Ugh no. That would be very Group of 5-ish.

I'm a fan of kit-clashing. Assuming Wisconsin will be wearing their standard white pants, it would look best if UM wore maize or blue.
October 1st, 2021 at 8:28 PM ^
If they can't wear Maize and Blue then I prefer
This:
Or this:
In the end I don't really care what they wear as long as the badgers are sad.
October 1st, 2021 at 6:25 PM ^
White on Blue would be awesome.
October 1st, 2021 at 6:30 PM ^
OP writes:

Yeah, well, the colors aren't maize and white (which look like a$$ together) either.
OP also writes:
I also wouldn't mind seeing white jerseys, with blue pants.
I'd be open to that.
Michigan's road uniforms will always be challenging, as they'll be compared to the best uniforms (home ones) in college football.
October 1st, 2021 at 7:13 PM ^
You think this looks like ass?
October 1st, 2021 at 9:46 PM ^
They can wear teal and fuschia if it comes with a Rose Bowl patch.
October 1st, 2021 at 6:46 PM ^
They're doing white on white but this time it's denim.
October 1st, 2021 at 7:39 PM ^
I bet there’s a comment box at Schembechler Hall. Have you considered leaving your feedback there?
October 1st, 2021 at 7:54 PM ^
Good God I hate those
October 1st, 2021 at 8:49 PM ^
Wear white, blue, Maize or a tutu. I don’t care if they play naked. Just win the game.
October 1st, 2021 at 9:13 PM ^
They can wear all maize for all I care, so long as they win.
October 1st, 2021 at 9:23 PM ^
Frankly, I like the white-on-white uni’s because they’re a throwback to the days when QB Ricky Leach would actually the pull the ball and run it for a first down. As a freshman. Starting the first game of the season. AT WISCONSIN. It was the kind of stuff that eventually put him (and Michigan) on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
October 1st, 2021 at 11:04 PM ^
Your post reminded me about Ricky Leach, what a BAMF. I knew he was an ironman at QB, but I looked it up and was still surprised:
As a freshman, he started 11 of 12 games for the 1975 team for an 8-2-2 record and #8 ranking in the final AP poll. He rushed for 552 yards on 113 carries and passed for 680 yards as a freshman.
As a sophomore, he started all 12 games and led the 1976 team to a 10-2 record and #3 ranking in the final AP poll. He passed for 973 yards and 13 touchdowns and rushed for 638 yards and 10 touchdowns on 114 carries in 1976.
As a junior, he started all 12 games at quarterback and led the '77 team to a 10-2 record and #9 ranking in the final AP poll. He passed for 1,348 yards and 15 touchdowns and rushed for 375 yards and seven touchdowns on 106 carries.
As a senior, he again started all 12 games at quarterback and led the '78 team to a 10-2 record and #5 ranking in the final AP poll. He passed for 1,283 yards and 17 touchdowns and rushed for 611 yards and 12 touchdowns on 145 carries.
Leach shattered all Michigan's career passing, total offense and touchdown records. He set an NCAA record for most touchdowns accounted for (82) and broke Big Ten records for total offense (6,460 yards), total plays (1,034), and touchdown passes (48).
Those were the days. One of the best ever. All American in football and baseball. All of those carries and he only failed to start ONE GAME. Today, it seems like QB's typically cannot make it through the year even though they are more protected and usually run less.

No all whites! Too much like stupid Penn St
October 1st, 2021 at 11:32 PM ^
I’m not an artist by any means but what about blue pants with like gashes of maze going across the thighs. Like a wolverine clawed them. You could imagine what it would be like
October 2nd, 2021 at 12:19 AM ^
You could imagine what it would be like
I am an artist, and yes, it would be terrible.
October 2nd, 2021 at 7:38 AM ^
Yes, absolutely turrible.
October 2nd, 2021 at 8:02 AM ^
Yea just really not a fan of the all whites. Would prefer they go back to the maize pants for away games
October 2nd, 2021 at 2:44 AM ^
I can imagine. It would be something worthy of West Virginia. And we've already seen that something that works for West Virginia football doesn't translate to Michigan football.
October 2nd, 2021 at 6:45 AM ^
Since we really haven't beaten a compelling opponent in all whites. I say we change.
Call it superstition, but who cares?
October 2nd, 2021 at 7:06 AM ^
All blue for road games unless the opponent has a blue jersey. This is 2021
