Basketball: FSU thread

Submitted by tasnyder01 on

Michigan goes against FSU in the best remaining game in the winners bracket.  Thoughts etc. go here.

Also, I'm not showing a stream on firstrowsports. Anyone know of any streams?

State of Our Open Threads, Basketball Edition:

How many times did our poster's mention "NIT" or "We'll be lucky to make the tournament" in this thread?

I know I saw a few early on.

THANK FUCKING GOD. I couldn't handle losing bcus of missed FTs again. Hell of a performance by Stauskas, and a solid game for Mitch. GR3 came on late, and Walton Jr hit some big shots. Once the game slows down for him he could be great. I think he's a better shooter than Trey (on spot up threes).

That's a really good win that I suspect will look really, really good in February and March.  That's a good basketball team we just beat.  Shaky when trapped, but otherwise impressive and creates matchup issues becasue they're huge.

Nice adjustments from the team in the second half. Started attacking the rim and good things started happening. A couple more made free throws would have lowered my heart rate though.

That was unnecessarily exciting.

Good game though. Made some mistakes, came back to tie it, nearly gave it away again, pulled out the win against a solid team.

This game reminds me a little of the Kansas win. Reslience pays off. I am just concerned about 1) our free throw shooting 2) walton missing 2 FT at the end, hopefully it is not a case of nerves...

Judging by this game thread, the score was 12356 - 0 in favor of FSU until Michigan made a rare 12357 point shot with 2 seconds left in the game.

I know that makes no sense since it went into overtime, but oh well, who gives a fuck.

0/10 performance, Michigan "fans."
