49 states, and every other country able to see this game thank you Deshaun Watson and Dabo Swinney for beating Bama. Now I hope our championship within these next few years is against Saban (and some recruits he beat us out for). Even better would be this marking the end of this Bama dynasty, but I doubt thats gonna happen.

They said that 2 years ago when he lost to Meyer and OSU. I'll belive it when I see it.

Who in the SEC West is going to topple Alabama?

Actually, who in the SEC is going to topple Alabama? Exactly.

F you and your $300k Clemson, but good for you Desaun Watson. You've been the best player in college FB for two years now and haven't won the Heisman. You've lost the N.C.last year. You seem like a great kid, very God fearing and I'm glad you finally can celebrate

if that ball is touched, or fails to travel 10 yards, Alabama has a reasonable shot at a last second pass to the end zone. Could have been an all time classic fail.

So . . . what have Clemson's recrutiting class rankings been over the last 5 years?

I would bet that Harbaugh's last two classes average out better.

Clearly we are recruiting well enough to be playing in the CFP.  We just need a couple more classes and to put it all together.

Watching that game made me feel better about Michigan's season.  I saw athletes all over the field tonight that were far superior to anything Michigan has on offense, and the defenses were comparable.  It's a miracle Harbaugh has this team where it is.

This is what I was trying to say when people were melting down.

Only I was using the NC game last year. We didn't belong on the field with Clemson and Bama from last year. We're improving, we're closer today than we've been in a loooooong time.

But Coach Brown says "DUDES" both of those teams have "DUDES."

We had one + an elite level DL and an elite CB. But that energy and emotion, those guys who fly around? Peppers was about it that brought that. A guy who wasn't going to shy away from the moment.

We need guys who are going to shine when the lights are the brightest, guys who have that dawg them.

I'd say Peppers and Ryan Glasgow were our two that weren't taking shit from ANYONE. Oh and De'Veon Smith. He's got that dawg for sure. We need more of those to go along with the elite guys we've got, the All-B1G guys we've got.

It's just a different mentality.

but when did any of those guys make a play when it mattered? I give you Jourdan Lewis's interception vs. Wisconsin. That was it. Peppers was a great athlete but we talk about him around here like he's Charles fucking Woodson. But whereas Woodson intercepted OSU in the endzone and returned a punt for a TD in the Game... Jabrill had Curtis Samuel 1-on-1 in the flat, on the 25-yard line on 3rd and 10 in OT of the most important game of his career. And Samuel juked him, reversed field, and got a 9-yard gain to set up yet another excruciating fucking play to set up yet another excruciating  Michigan loss. No, Peppers doesn't owe anyone anything and he was an outstanding player but in college football lore there are Deshawn Watsons and there are Leon Halls, and Peppers is a Leon Hall.

I think you are underselling the roster a bit. Although it was not as good as either team. We had more dudes than just pep, the dline and Lewis. Strib gets overlooked for his dudeness because he was a liability in run support. However, he got much better as the year went on. I mean, there are going to be ten plus on this roster drafted this year... As far as the guts with the dawg in them that won't take shit from anyone. I think there were actually a bunch of young guys that showed this. Bush was a moster on special teams and produced a lot of wow type hits. I think the two inline te have that dawg as well as the hammering panda. Gary made freshman mistakes but played with a bunch of fiestyness. I'm sure there is more, I'm just to tired to think of some. I generally agree with our points. I think I lean more to the side of consistency. The roster was full of guys that were dudes with that dawg in them on some plays. However, other plays they would be out of position or play a with to much hesitation.

the playmakers on O. Oh, how I wish we had a healthy Chesson for the stretch run - but we still were short 3 playmakers on the level of Clemson. Watson makes everyone look even better. Even on D. We had a few very good defenders, but we don't have the talent like Bama. They have a bunch of 5* that start and maybe 5 1st rounders (Allen, Williams, Fitz and Humphrey, Foster). Taco would start and Wormley & Glasgow would push to start. Peppers probably starts at SS but not sure how he fits Saban's D. I am not sure Lewis even starts for them - he is probably their nickel CB.
