in 4-5 years who's ends up being the best recruit in this class.

For the first time in a long time we do not have a top 10 player at any position (according to scout) outside Wile @ Kicker.  There is no runaway favorite recruit like in previous years.  I am curious to whom you guys think will be the biggest star from this class.

Bellomy....    what I saw from him, I think he is gonna be a star.   I also said the same about Denard when we signed him when everyone only could see Forcier.

I didn't neg him for liking Bellomy.

"I also said the same about Denard when we signed him when everyone only could see Forcier."

I negged him for that douchetastic comment. No one cares if you saw some talent in a player when no one else did. Yes Denard is great and Tate kinda nosedived. Does he want a medal?

He sees potential in Bellomy. Great, good. Why be a dick then?

I like him the best.  I'd put Kellen Jones in second place.

None of the Rivals 5.5 Ohioans do much for me.  As far as Rawls is concerned, he appears to be (as others have noted) Kevin Grady II on film.  I still that he's so enthusiastic about playing at Michigan.

about your comments on the "5.5 Ohioans." I think Jack Miller will be a great center or SDE for us.

I'm excited about Barnett. With a red shirt year his upper body will fill out and catch up with his lower body. He'll be a huge target and should be solid at the point of attack in the run game.

Best recruit we got this year - was supposed to be part of the Fisher, Zettel, and Beyer trifecta. Still think he is Craig Roh reincarnate.  WIll be the best recruit from this class....

This class will be a big success if the o-line prospects pan out.  If two of those guys end up as starters in 3-4 years this is a very good haul.  If not, there could be issues going forward with depth/talent up front where (much like now) young guys have to jump into the rotation early on in their careers.

A lot of people will flock to the skill positions and probably pick someone like Rawls but I see Poole as the blue chipper of this class and somone who we'll see playing on Sundays.

Kellen Jones is the kind of player that will be a star on this team.  We have been desperate for a dynamic LB for years and I believe he fits the bill.

Thomas "LOU" Rawls...

Maybe the big house can pipe in some smooth Lou Rawls music when Thomas gets the ball. And the crowd chants Louuuuuuuuuuu.

Justice Hayes was the 3rd best All purpose back.. but that is according to rivals, Scout's site is so un organized it's a chore following that site

Although he's not my favorite of the class, I think Tamani Carter has a lot of upside. His film shows him getting to the ball carrier with a lot of quickness, and can come up and punish you. He also elevates to get the ball at it's highest point. Maybe I'm just wishful thinking, but I think he's underrated and can be a great DB in time.

Chris Bryant will be coached up by our staff and end up as a great Michigan lineman.  He's got all the physical tools and once he understands technique I think the sky is the limit for this guy.

So, the coaching staff will find a way to under-utilize Jones until he has some monster season when he is a senior?  Sign me up for that!

Countess/Rawls/Beyer are the three that we'll be talking about long after 4 years from now...

sorry, but this is the most unexciting class I can ever remember. the good news is there'll be very few redshirts taken off and maybe this will be a strong fifth year class in 2015.

Zettel, now wait, I mean Fisher, no wait...D-Har...ummmmm.....

Thanks Mr. Brandon for a coaching change in the middle of January - Strategery!!! (I had you figured out wrong Mr. Pizza Man).

Good luck to the new recruits, prove me wrong.

Zettel never committed here, and has never wavered. Just accept he liked PSU more. And Hart was shoeing cold feet and flip-flopping rumors long before the coaching change. It could just as easily be said 7-6 killed his recruitment as much as the timing of a change.

Love all the shoutouts to both Fred Jackson's recruiting work and the "groundwork" that coach Rod and his staff laid for a lot of these committs.  Brady is one class act!

Jones, or Barnett. I think linebackers are the most integral part of a good defense. Barnett is already the right size to contribute...he might split time with Brandon Moore.

On offense - I think Bryant will be a monster, especially if he reaches his ceiling. I think Thomas Rawls can be the next great Michigan RB too.

On defense - I think it will be either of the LB's; Poole or Jones. Both show great ability and instincts, we just have to hope Mattison will maximize their potential. (Which he should).
