| 19 weeks 43 min ago | I've talked to a few SEC fans |
on another blog site, including Auburn fans, and they say they still believe he is a UM lean. He is being heavily pursued by the new Auburn coaching staff but in their opinion the coaching turnover may be too much to overcome. Not sure what is going on with these Auburn fans referenced in the OP. |
| 26 weeks 14 hours ago | Hopefully |
Cardale Jones will be eligible to play. Apparently he hasn't been playing a lot of class or playing a lot studying lately. We can only hope it doesn't affect his abilities to ace this upcoming game. |
| 30 weeks 18 hours ago | Have to give Ohio pro fans some credit.... |
....while their teams are usually notoriously bad/choke-artists, especially Cleveland teams, the fans themselves are very passionate. They are the complete opposite of the type fans you find in areas such as Miami etc. I currently go to Miami (Ohio) and there is a lot pride in all their teams, whether deserved or not. Ok positives over, let's go back to ragging on them please. |
| 1 year 6 weeks ago | He has been working |
with Barwis personally, and before that with the same trainer I use. Talked to him multiple times, he is a good kid. Always talked about wanting to go somewhere warmer though, so this decision makes sense. He is definitely a good player, though a lot of the competition he has faced is questionable. |
| 1 year 9 weeks ago | We had a class wide |
bracket challenge in 8th grade. Most the girls did well and won using this method of choosimg. The championship game was between Florida and UCLA... |
| 1 year 9 weeks ago | As an alumnus of CC |
We did the same thing to some public schools around us. Didn't really have to do with race at all, we usually only used it when the opposing schools would chant something like "brokeback high school" or something along those lines. I do believe U of D does not have better academic standards/prominence than CC and not sure where that belief in U of D came from and why it's so prominent. |
| 1 year 11 weeks ago | Haha gota disagree there |
Even on the beautiful days, those curvy roads in the middle of nowhere still make you want to drive like an old man. Though the drive on a nice day between Oxford/Ann Arbor is probably one of easiest 4 hour drives you can make. |
| 1 year 11 weeks ago | Best of luck to him - |
I just got home driving back from Miami (Ohio). The drive right now is brutal with this terrible weather...especially in Ohio. |

Best of luck to the kid. Committed to play before everyone knew how good this class was. I hope he does great things at Cincinatti. I think our OL haul is still top notch. |
| 1 year 19 weeks ago | I think the GF |
I think the fact that his GF goes to Bama already has a big part to do with this. Whether or not it factored into his decision, you know his parent(s) at least believed it to have some role. Thats just how they work. Of course a mom would rather her son stay home and play for a national program in their own backyard instead of going into a different state to possibly be with his girlfriend. |
| 1 year 19 weeks ago | Don't bother |
giving him a legitimate response - his profile was created today. A poor trolling attempt by Sparty, but either way I hope DeAnthony and his father well. |
| 1 year 19 weeks ago | I know GoBlue418 |
I know the OP personally. Good man but converted Sparty fan, it's a shame we had to lose him. |
| 1 year 20 weeks ago | Agreed |
I was getting very annoyed after VT got picked for the Sugar Bowl. The media wasted no time giving them bulletin-board material. Heck, Herbstreit ripped into them on national tv the minute they got chosen. They will definitely be very motivated, but as we have seen with Team 132 motivation and heart is definitely not an issue. |
| 1 year 20 weeks ago | Well not like it matters |
but so far two analysts have picked against us. Thanks for nothing Todd McShay and David Pollack. Don't know Pollack's track record with his picks, but I'm sure it isn't a big deal. Geaux Blue. |
| 1 year 28 weeks ago | No it isn't |
To start 6-0 get to 7-1 and finish 7-5 would not be acceptable, but it isn't unlikely. I believe we will overcome Illinois on the road next week, but I think we slip up against Nebraska and Ohio State. To those who say we're solid at home, the best team we beat at home was Notre Dame and that was somehwat of a miracle win. Our only B1G home wins have come against Purdue and Minnesota - not exactly two teams that can indicate how good your team truly is. |
| 1 year 28 weeks ago | Maybe you guys |
will realize we just aren't that good. We are good, and a better team than last year, but we're still not a good enough team. I don't where all this confidence from the fans came from. I believe in wishful thinking, but how you guys thought we would easily walk into Kinnick stadium and come away with a win is mind-boggling. I feel confident in saying we will finsh the regular season 8-4, with that final win coming next week in Illinois. |
| 1 year 30 weeks ago | 10-2 would be |
a pretty optimistic result. I see us going 9-3 with unfortunately losses to Nebraska and tOSU. |
| 1 year 31 weeks ago | Seriously guys |
Let's beat Sparty before we can even think about going to the B1G championship game. This season has played out exactly like last season minus are defense didn't shit the bed vs the terrible teams we played. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. |
| 1 year 37 weeks ago | Big difference |
that I saw was the lack of missed tackles. Yes we didn't stop the run by any means but we didn't miss tackles. We blew some coverage assignments too but you can clearly see the difference from this year and last year. |
| 1 year 40 weeks ago | Been waiting for Cam |
Cam Dillard to be mentioned. He is a friend of mine (acquaintance) and was one of my training partners and I frequently would talk about Michigan with him ( more as of a joke than anything). Kid is pretty damn strong when he sticks with his work ethic and gets the right training. He has been training with Barwis a lot lately so I don't know the status of his strength these days, but the kid is still a beast and is still growing. Hope for big things for him. |
| 1 year 44 weeks ago | I got denied |
with a 31 and a 3.8 from a very competitive private Michigan school. It was pretty crushing especially considering some other kids that got in, but I know I should have done better. I am now off to Miami University in the fall, and if things at Miami aren't great then I will attempt to transfer to U of M. Still, GBOD! |
| 1 year 44 weeks ago | Gamertag Puppa SFW |
Gamertag Puppa SFW.
I'd be done for any kind of serious dynasty, if the OP still has any spots open I'd take Michigan, PSU, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Iowa, MSU,tOSU, Northwestern, Illinois in that order.
If not I'm down to join another. |
| 1 year 45 weeks ago | Aaaaand now they have |
And now they have realized they don't mind losing Kalis at all. A money quote from Bucknuts regarding Dodson and Kalis. " That would be the best news all year. I think Dodson is a far superior talent to Kalis and is way under rated. I was more upset about Dodson going to Wiscy then I was about Kalis committing to Michigan. Kalis is like a HS girl who changes his mind every five minutes and I don't want him here. He contradicts himself every 4 or 5 weeks and is a sell out! I would welcome Kyle Dodson back in a second and I didn't blame him for committing in the middle of this shit storm to Wisconsin because at that point he didn't want to get left out of a top program, and OSU was retarded for not offering him earlier. I can't wait till Bollman and Peterson are GONE!: |
| 1 year 46 weeks ago | I don't think so. |
If O'brien committed first, then they would still take Pipkins. If Pipkins committed first, its hard to see the staff turn down one of the best prospects in state and a solid prospect nationally to hope for a kid from California. That's not the type of recruiting buzz that you want in-state. |
| 1 year 46 weeks ago | I'd hate this |
I'd hate this guy just the same no matter where he goes. Seriously, eff this dude. So sick. |
| 1 year 47 weeks ago | Bucknuts |
hate Strobel so much. and if Kalis ends up blue then their hate towards both will just increase tenfold. |
| 1 year 47 weeks ago | I think its a Sparty fan |
because they just had a whole thread on tRCMB about T-Rich wearing a Florida hat and they were all giddy about him possibly decommitting. Its honestly pathetic. It has to be them. |
| 1 year 47 weeks ago | He's the only safety |
mentioned because Jeremy Clark just committed...kinda. The coaches are only going after Wilson now, and if he doesn't commit then Clark will get offered a full scholarship. I think that does it for safeties. |
| 1 year 47 weeks ago | If they de-committ |
then I guess it would be like going to your bachelor party and cheating on your fiance, and then you end up marrying the "stripper". |
