Coaching Change

Submitted by THE_KNOWLEDGE on
.
after last Thursday's game, many folks, including the #2 writer on this blog - Cook, immediately compared the Utah loss to the first game under Rich Rod, another close loss to Utah
.
this reaction was of course expected
.
many people then proceeded to conclude that Michigan will finish the season 7-5, or 8-4 at best
.
these people don't understand THE KNOWLEDGE
.
yes
.
in the 2015 season review, THE KNOWLEDGE had clearly mentioned that Michigan's overall record is 10-2 and OOC record is 3-1
.
that is correct and true
.
those that follow THE KNOWLEDGE know this, and are worry-free
.
they also know that is the reason THE KNOWLEDGE CHALLENGE did not debut last week
.
yes
.
as revealed in the previous post, THE KNOWLEDGE shall now discuss about the coaching change event that brought Jim Harbaugh (whom THE KNOWLEDGE simply refers to as Harba - removing the ugh) to Michigan
.
THE KNOWLEDGE, as readers know, does not live in the past. THE KNOWLEDGE lives in the future
.
hence, THE KNOWLEDGE generally does not talk about the past; but has made a rare exception in this case
.
yes
.
when Hoke was about to be fired, the original plan was hire a different coach - not Harba
.
given that the spread experiment with RR had failed, and the pro-style experiment with Hoke had failed, the most logical choice was to try the third system
.
the triple option
.
Paul Johnson was the prime and only candidate
.
yes
.
once PJ taken over the reins at Michigan, Braxton Miller was slated to transfer and get the NCAA waiver
.
Chavis was to be the DC
.
this would have been fine for the short term
.
however, the highly irregular spatio-temporal anomalies mentioned in the previous post by THE KNOWLEDGE intervened
.
and made Harba the head coach of Michigan
.
yes
.
back to the future
.
THE KNOWLEDGE CHALLENGE will run on an irregular basis this season for the weekly POTW (Protege of the week) challenges
.
with this post, THE KNOWLEDGE opens the quest for the readers to become TOP FRIEND OF THE KNOWLEDGE
.
as loyal readers are aware, this is the title given to the reader who correctly predicts the participants of the National Title game and the winner
.
it is not required to predict the score of the final
.
predictions must be based before this Saturday
.
yes

Uh, to get back to the warning I've received, and you can take this with as many grains of salt as you wish.  The brown acid that is circulating around us is not specifically too good.   Uh, it's suggested that you do stay away from that.

Of course it's your own trip, so be my guest.  But, uh, please be advised that there is a warning on that one, OK?

I have TCU over Georgia in a close one.

1. Ohio State (13-0)

2. TCU (12-0)

3. Notre Dame (11-1)

4. Georgia (11-2)

Georgia upsets Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl while TCU handles Notre Dame with ease in the Orange Bowl. TCU then edges Georgia in a championship game for the ages.

Team 1 beats 4, team 2 loses to 3, who then beats 1 in NC game...

Ofcourse, THE_KNOWLEDGE already knows which teams I have determined are 1,2,3 and 4.  If HE choses, HE will reveal my choices as further evidence of his all knowingness...as if we need any further evidence!

With a weak-ass schedule and not dominating everyone on their schedule, OSU will drop to 2 or 3 by playoff time and that give them just enough motivation to win easily in the playoffs and get to the championship game where they will lose.  The SEC will claim dominance again and set the table for UM to rise in 2016 and shock the world.

Ohio State, Alabama, Oregon, and TCU in the playoff. Oregon beats Ohio State and Alabama beats TCU in the semifinals. Alabama beats Oregon to reclaim the national title but it will be Saban's last.
