Splish Splash, Hunter Wants to Dance Muppets Comment Count

Big man putting in his threes up there. Big man stopping TJD down there. Other big man diving for the ball down there. Dream stays alive.

And you can’t have one without the other.

Writeup in a bit. Podcast will be recorded tomorrow.

Hmm I'm usually ok with liberal Muppets use, but can't justify it today. We beat an unranked team we've beaten 9 times in a row and haven't lost to in 6 years. Not sure how this is deserving of Muppets but the football team beating Wisconsin in Madison for the first time in 20 years didn't get the nod. Good win, but not Muppets-worthy

Hmm I'm usually okay with liberal Muppets use, and can totally justify it today. We beat a team unbeaten at home, and good enough to beat the #4 team in the country, when our team's development has been rocky, and remains a work in progress.

It would have been nice to have Muppets with the football team beating Wisconsin in Madison for the first time in 20 years but that was that, and this is now. Good win, and Muppets-worthy

Ill take the muppets anytime I can get them. Firing fearlessly from 3, win, lose or draw, seems like the best move to turn this season around. The hesitation is gone from Caleb, Twill, Hunter, and even Johns! Love it! What a fun game to watch.

All Muppets all the time!

This was the shooting I envisioned before the start of the season. Defense was solid too. The team is coming together.

Hmmm.

Excellent win for UM, but muppets for defeating an unranked team that hasn't defeated UM in over 5 years?  Unnecessary.  Seth needs to learn more discipline with the muppets button.

Any win at that place is Muppets worthy. This game could change the trajectory of the season. It was an injection of confidence right into the veins. That’s critical for such a young team. Definitely something to build on.

Definitely nice to have the muppets. Hopefully this is the spark of big things to come. Got to keep working, grinding, and building towards more good performances.

You people are a bunch of buzz kills. Sports, and particularly wins, are supposed to be fun, but half this thread is people trying to tell us why we shouldn’t be happy with a big, much needed win in a hostile environment against a solid team. I guess some people just aren’t happy unless they have something to bitch about

Wow 18 point win. Wish I could have seen the game. Maryland and Indiana aren't great but going from how they were playing to blowing out 2 teams, 1 on the road, is a huge surprise.

EDIT: OK. Apparently Indiana is 14-4 and 33 on Kenpom. I feel like the Muppets are justified given how Michigan's season has gone to this point. That had to be by far their best game of the year, right? Massive for their tourney chances.

Muppets come from emotion, not logic. They can be used in seemingly obscure situations when the writing staff believes it was something bigger than just a game. That could be a turning point or an unexpected win. When we look back this win, it might have been something bigger than a regular season basketball win against Indiana. It may also have been an outlier, but for today we must believe in the power of the muppets.

A win over unranked Indiana gets muppets.  Interesting...

The women's bball team beat the #2 team in the nation in a nationally televised game earlier this season, sans the starting point guard.  They still haven't received the time of day...
