Straight from the old coaching staff!!!
Let me first tell you, my brother in-law Allen is the son of a very important man at U of M. He has been close to all the coaches at Michigan since he was young (Bo,Gary,Lloyd,RR).
Well yesterday we had the family over and Allen walked through the door with ten bags of Michigan gear he got from some of the coaches. He told me he took what he wanted and I could have the rest, so like a kid at christmas I began going through all the bags and found almost all of the stuff is new. There is also alot of kids suff.
I also tried to find out what Allens dad knows, and how the coaching search was going, but he won't say a thing.

The mysterious guy who distributes all that kind of stuff to third-world countries?
Does that mean we'll be seeing children in Mozambique sporting "All in for Michigan" t-shirts by the end of the week?

Don't be greedy

You can let "Allen" know he can keep the HE16MAN shirts around a bit longer.

I think the Allen he is referring to is none other than the infamous Mr. Allen! 29 or 2 for 50! I haven't seen those commercials in ten years (when I graduated) but they have been burnt into my brain. My dying words will probably be"29...or...2...for...fiddy..." (BEEEP)

My brother-in-law is from a third world country, but got his citizenship when he married my wife's sister. He didn't know anything about the coaching search either...

January 10th, 2011 at 1:43 PM ^
So wait, you made a post to say that you know a major insider, but that insider didn't tell you anything? You realize that's about as good as me making a post saying I don't know any insiders who also didn't tell me anything, right?
January 10th, 2011 at 1:46 PM ^
Priceless. I was thinking the exact same thing.

Wait...maybe the insiders you don't know are the same ones I don't know? I think we're on to something.
January 10th, 2011 at 3:14 PM ^
Those same insiders I don't know have said that even if they knew something (and knew me), they wouldn't tell me . . . .
January 10th, 2011 at 2:14 PM ^
I think it was also to brag about all the cool Michigan gear he got

Specifically Santa Monica (the "Home of the Homeless") and for some reason the clothes they always give away to the homeless people happen to be Michigan t-shirts. My guess is that there are just soooo many made that the Salvation Army inevitably becomes its own version of the M-Den come Spring Cleaning. Anyways, when I first got into Michigan I had so much pride in the school that every time I would see a homeless person wearing a ratty Michigan t-shirt I'd yell "Go blue!" at them. I once even tried having a conversation with one of them about the recruitment of Ryan Mallet.
Anyways, now I'm starting to believe that the surplus of Michigan clothing is in fact due to the constant coaching turnover... Damn.
January 10th, 2011 at 2:10 PM ^
Just last week I saw someone who looked homeless in a Michigan shirt in Venice. It looked like a Nike one so it must have been at least 3 years old.

Blah Blah Blah
January 10th, 2011 at 1:51 PM ^
But I don't know how to delete them. I can only edit them. So this is the end result. Go Blue! Who's our head coach gonna be?

When you hit reply there are several things that are going on. You are requesting that a page be loaded and you are sending the server information to process (your reply message). The server then processes your information (adds your comment), then builds the html for the page and sends it back to you. When the page times out, it's usually that last step that fails. So, when you refresh the page, you are submitting your reply message each time. That's why it added it 5 times. Also, if it takes a while to load and you hit the reply button again, thinking that it will speed it up, you are sending the request a second time.
Long story short, if the page times out after you submit a comment, open a new tab and check to see if it submitted before you refresh the page.
