Jay Paterno mocks James Earl Jones and Michigan
Jay Paterno, recently elected Trustee at Penn State took some time out this week from his pedophile denial to write an article for the State College newspaper. In it he talks about tradition and the excitement of having ESPN's College Gameday on campus. He also downgrades the opponent who is "only ranked #19".
Paterno talks about the pride an humbleness of Penn State while slamming Michigan, our air of arrogance, and the James Earl Jones video among other things. At least Paterno never mentions his dad. That's the only point in his favor.

Daddy isn't the only one that enabled pedophilia. Does anyone think the AD didn't tell the school president that the football program employed a coach seen raping a child? And from that, does anyone believe the president didn't tell the BoT that its pride and joy was harboring a football coach under active FBI investigation for committing pedophilia in the football locker rooms and showers?
Don't even try to tell me it stopped at Joe... Fuck that entire place. Burn it down.

What's he gonna do? Own all of that? Apparently not. Like you said, his greatest asset is his name.
Real class and dignity would have been blowing everything up, moving somewhere else and starting over. Ideally, in a capacity that does good things for people suffering from sexual abuse.

hope we pound the shit out of PSU.
James Earl Jones is a national treasure. Whereas Jay's dad enabled the forcible anal rape of children for decades.

BOOOO PENN STATE. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
October 20th, 2017 at 9:40 AM ^
I'm probably in the minority here, but I despise Penn State more than I do OSU or MSU. They're just sickening pedophile enablers. I want this win so badly.
October 20th, 2017 at 9:42 AM ^
I hate them almost as much as I hate Ohio State now, they've easily surpassed Michigan St and ND on that list.
October 20th, 2017 at 10:50 AM ^
For me it was always OSU > ND > MSU, with a pretty big gap after ND.
Now PSU is ahead of ND and just behind OSU.
Those fucks covered up some heinous shit for decades and Mocha Brady Hoke as the nerve to talk about the school needing to "heal".
No you stupid fuck, the victims need to heal and you should shut your fucking mouth.
October 20th, 2017 at 12:49 PM ^
Do better man. Jesus.
October 20th, 2017 at 1:16 PM ^
I think it's funny.
October 20th, 2017 at 11:56 AM ^
I don't know why, but I root for OSU over ND whenever they play. I guess that means I hate them more.
October 20th, 2017 at 10:17 AM ^
I came to the realization the other day that I actaully won't be conflicted at all about who to root for when PSU plays MSU and OSU. I hope both those teams stomp the shit out of James Franklin's ridiculous, arrogant ass. I'm tired of that fan base. I'm tired of the "healing" narrative. I'm tired of seeing Franklin's smug bitch-ass face in press conferences acting like he invented football or something. Fuck that team for real.
October 20th, 2017 at 10:49 AM ^
Couldn't agree more! My personal hatred has shifted mostly to Pedo St.

Thank you for saying this.
I was sitting here wondering if I was wrong for feeling that my hatred of Penn State is rivaling that of OSU. OSU is horrible in so many ways, but as far as we know, they aren't protecting/enabling/worshiping pedophiles.
October 20th, 2017 at 12:29 PM ^
Penn State is the only football program I hate. (I probably should hate Baylor, too, but I never read up on that situation.)
While I root against the OSU, MSU, and ND sports teams, I don't really "hate" them.
Penn State Football, however, should be hated by everyone, including and especially their students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
October 20th, 2017 at 3:04 PM ^
You should definitely read up on the Baylor situation. They are worthy of your scorn and you will hate them. It's dark and brutal. I'm glad Michigan doesn't play them. I actually think the other conference teams should place an embargo on them and refuse to play them.

I am with you. Penn State is also public football enemy #1 to me after the Enabler saga. The root cause to decades of enablement of Sandusky's anal rape of innocent children was preserving the success and image of the PSU football program by coaches, administrators, and subsequently, an apologist fanbase. For that simple reason, any subsequent effort by subsequent players, coaches and fans to promote the success and image of the PSU football program is sickening to me.
Something truly Biblical going on here. A family (PSU) puts a false idol (football team) ahead of innocent children and the children are subjected to nighmtarish horror. The family gets outed, takes minor punishment, then the kids and grandkids (new players, students, fans, administrators, coaches) go back to business as usual worshipping that same idol. Just creepy as all hell.

Neither James Earl Jones nor his father ever gave a known serial child rapist the means to continue inflicting those horrors on at-risk children.
That's something Jay Paterno can't say. So I'd say Game, Set, Match James Earl Jones.
October 20th, 2017 at 9:41 AM ^
"Penn State’s program and fans have exceeded your standard of enthusiasm for decades and will continue to do that this weekend."
.....WHAT!? Hi, I'm earth. Have we met? What are you even saying?!
I swear if dumb were dirt, this guy would cover a fucking acre.
October 20th, 2017 at 9:44 AM ^
It's funny because it's true.
October 20th, 2017 at 9:51 AM ^
This is neither too dark, inappropiate, or classless. This is hilarious.
October 20th, 2017 at 11:58 AM ^
Man I wish this game and Gameday were in Ann Arbor. The signs would in the crowd would be righteous
October 20th, 2017 at 12:48 PM ^
Like the FSU game in '91, there would be zero crowd shots.

He acknowleges both school's traditions. The article was designed to pump up the fan base (much like our aforementioned hype video). I wasn't offended by this.

I hate Penn State more than Ohio State because Penn State and their enabbled a pedohpile on their campus for 30+ years. I know OSU is a rival, but I won't even compare the atrocities of Penn State to some rivalry with the Buckeyes.
October 20th, 2017 at 10:15 AM ^
So I know a lot more people who went to Penn State than MSU or OSU. They are absolutely insufferable.
I actually talked to one Penn State fan who said he would rather have what happened to PSU's football program than lose a game to Appalachian State. One of the most disgusting things I've ever heard.
It's unlikely but I hope for one game, Michigan can just mercilessly destroy this team.
October 20th, 2017 at 10:35 AM ^
October 20th, 2017 at 12:45 PM ^
It's just not "that" person. It's 99% of the PSU fanbase.
October 20th, 2017 at 10:44 AM ^
you knocked out his teeth
October 20th, 2017 at 11:24 AM ^
the same michigan team that lost to appy state but then proceeded to beat penn state for the 9th straight game? he would rather be that psu? sounds like one of those fools.
October 20th, 2017 at 2:30 PM ^
how someone could think that way. JFC. As a Cub fan I had a hard enough time coming around to cheer for Aroldis Chapman last year after he put hands on his girl and shooting up his garage.
October 20th, 2017 at 2:32 PM ^
Make that douche go on scared straight and spend a night with Sandusky.
October 20th, 2017 at 4:06 PM ^
My response would have simply been, "you should kill yourself immediately." And I would have meant it seriously.
October 20th, 2017 at 9:49 AM ^
...and Michigan has a three game winning streak going into tomorrow.
Applesauce, bitches.
October 20th, 2017 at 9:49 AM ^
...is just another milestone in the healing process. So I guess they get to erase their rape enabling past from our memories.
October 20th, 2017 at 12:31 PM ^
I highly doubt Penn State winning football games and being talked about nationally on a weekly basis for doing so is helping the healing process of the young men who were victimized there.
October 20th, 2017 at 1:22 PM ^
No joke. There is something creepy and disgusting about a football family whose pride and investment in the success of their football team was the very reason children were molested to turn around and say they are healing now that they are restoring their pride and investment in the success of their football team. Just really, really creepy, fucked and awful. Fuck Penn State.
