Could the injury be having an effect on Forcier's play?
the only thing he's doing well is his mobility. he's not making poor play, he's making poor choices. the offense just looks 10x more forced when he's out there.
The better question:
Could the jury be having an effect on Forcier's play?
you are looking for discussion on the MSU spring game. Sorry, wrong site.
gardner is truly the qb of the future. he's a beast. he already looks 2x better than DRob did all of last season.
annnnnd Cox fumbles. fml. RVB with the recovery
the D forced a fumble and IMMD :)
who bet the over?
Maize 18
Blue 34
Who's been playing in the defensive backfield? Vlad, Cam Gordon, Turner, Floyd, etc... Any of them do anything that stands out?
...at QB.
the 3rd string qb of my heart
for those keeping score in the annual "how does every Michigan qb who's ever played stack up" game
...a real profile in courage out there.
anyone else notice him/think he is doing well? to me when i watch him he looks really good, fast great feet. he has done a great job today at left tackle
The only thing certain that can be taken from this is that Tate is currently the best punter on the team.
rain starting to fall on the big house
i would actually put him in before i burned gardner's RS if QB APOCALYPSE occurred. he has good mobility and touch.
btw who's number 90 on defense. he's good.
and the btn is talking about "rocking wrangler jeans"
oneil swanson is good
edit: and then kennedy fumbles. i'm not allowed to live blog during the season.
...was in reference to Jon Jansen as the anti-slave to fashion.
Co-signed on JFK vice burning Gardner's redshirt.
Do you mean Lalota?
lined up on the left side (defense's left, on tv was right). he was breaking through the line every play. and is fucking HUGE.
When Jack Kennedy rolls out, he prefers going back and to the left.
too soon.
rude!
TOP for 3rd string offense solid. defense stops them but kennedy looked good.
So, neg away if you want, but if Denard is named the starter. over/under a week until Tate decides to transfer?
why even bring that up like it's a guarantee he would? i get the family has done that consistently but c'mon dude... that's just bullshit to throw out for no reason.
Forcier's father has mentioned previously how transferring hasn't worked well for his family in the past. Jason didn't start at Stanford, and Chris was the backup at Furman last year.
Delaware State lost two games when they played @ the Big House. they lost to UM and had to forfeit their other scheduled game.
Jack Kennedy also ran for 6 yards in that game
His only PT of the year
The Coner was 3/3.
What a great game.
quite a nice payout. Obviously their budget took precedence over their W-L record.
it was just something mentioned on BTN. im wondering how that worked in terms of their schedule having "two losses"
Other team was North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NCATSU?). I actually applied for a job there and was planning to bring up the connection if I got an interview but it never got that far.
I'm very excited that we have the guy that the other team thinks "Oh shit!" when he tucks the ball to run. Denard is the man!
Robinson, Odoms, Roundtree, Hopkins
DRob to Odoms for a TD (Red Zone drill)
Has Hopkins trucked anybody yet?
Kovacs met him in a hole and got put down. Kovacs wrapped up and brought him down though.
MVP Jack Kennedy.
How did he get this good in 4 or 5 months?
I hope it's not cause of our D. (Like when we made the 3rd string converted running back Purdue QB look like an All American in '08.)
Banish those negative thoughts. Banish those negative thoughts.
I think a proper baseline for comparison is Tate. If he looks as good or better, that should be pretty telling of the strides he's made.
They still have time to improve, nothing is set in stone. Let's not forget that.
Something about DR never having spent time with professional coaches before I'm sure
Remember, he was just a 18 year old kid and this is his FIRST SPRING with the team
maybe we're not screwed there. i feel like using !!!!s to stress this point
maybe we're not screwed there!!!!
Gibbons? How far?
45ish... i don't know if it was truly that long but it was a ways out
35 yarder.
Do you know who is doing the snapping on FGs/Punts so far?
...is a glimpse of the future, and I like it.
Gardner marches it in on 3 straight qb scrambles.
DRob to TRob. would have been reviewed for TD IRL but at the half yard mark. Shaw takes it in.
I feel okay about the offense; we'll score some points. But how would you assess the D? That's going to determine how the team does.
