19 weeks 5 days ago	Delfino and Okur	He also drafted some really effective players in the 2nd round that couldn't get on the florr during the reallly good times. They were useful starters for other teams.  Busts in the NBA draft are easier to pick than starters. Drummond looks like a winner. Monroe and Knight also look pretty good.
19 weeks 5 days ago	Exactly.	That's BS. The Pistons have to be one of the best organizations to play for in the NBA (Spurs... Pistons, then Jazz?). They're very loyal to their players, have won championships and reward success. I really don't understand the comment above. The only thing that is positive about the other teams in the NBA are markets for endorsements and weather.
21 weeks 6 days ago	Right. It's an efficiency	Right. It's an efficiency rating. He's certainly a more efficient player than Lebron. 'Bron (in his 1 NBA season as a teenager) averaged 3x the points on over 3.5x the shot attempts, 1/2 the rebounds in 2x the minutes, A:TO much better, and stl+blk are ~equal in 2x min. That Cleveland team finished 9th and 12 games under .500.   It was never meant to identify the best player in a league like the NBA. I think it does help to assign a value to guys like Drummond. He will likely never be MVP and he can't take over a game like Lebron so it's difficult to compare them. A better, and more relevant question: At this point would you take any other rookie, other than Davis (not yet in ROY comp due to injury and minutes himself), over Drummond?

It always seemed that Minny was an unreasonably tough out at their place. Someone found one way to try to quantify this here:

By definition such a player is obviously out of the play (Rule 9-1-12- b)."   Link   So there's that.  VSmith wasn't doing much ball-carrying when his helmet came off, and it was such a clean pick off the ground/quick end to the play.

As to an earlier point, you stated that you never said anything negative about the guys I mentioned, but listed: -Jonas Jerebko resigned for 4 years -Richard Hamilton bought out -Brandon Knight drafted Damn. There's 2/4 + Hamilton who needed to go. I don't want to debate this anymore.
