They stated I believe 17 straight big ten wins and I recall it was 4th all time? Does anyone know who is first and how many straight big ten wins they have?

here is a linkhttps://www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio-state-football/2015/11/63186/ohio-state-sets-national-record-for-most-consecutive-conference-wins-at-30?amp.

The streak broke the next game w a loss at msu. Funny thing is every time they start talking about the record they lose the next game. In 2021 there was an article on the record stating that by years end they would break the record after beating um and the b10 championship and we all know what followed.

I remember as a young lad when Michigan set the record in 1992 against Northwestern, a 40-7 win in Evanston.  That was 19 straight Big Ten wins.  Unfortunately, they couldn't add to that because the last two weeks of the season, they tied both Illinois and Ohio State.  No overtime in those days.

21 straight non-CFP game wins.  Last non-CFP game loss was to #SpartySucks in October of 2021.

This team feels like Bo's teams in the 70s.  Knock the living hell out of each and every opponent. Hit em' harder than they've ever been hit in their entire lives.

So much fun to watch.

Another interesting conference stat shown last night: Notre Dame has won 30 straight regular-season games versus the ACC. The one asterisk loss during that streak was to Clemson in the ACC Championship Game during the 2020 COVID year when Notre Dame joined the ACC for conference play in football for one year.

Michigan's current conference winning streak is 15, so it's tied for the 10th longest streak ever. Here were the standings going into this season.

1. Ohio State, 30 (2012-15)
2. Ohio State, 26 (2018-21)--broken by Michigan
3. Ohio State, 20 (2005-07)
4. Michigan, 19 (1990-92)
5. Ohio State, 17 (1954-56)
5. Ohio State, 17 (1967-69)--broken by Michigan
5. Ohio State, 17 (1974-76)--broken by Michigan
8. Michigan State, 16 (1965-67)
8. Michigan, 16 (1996-98)
10t. Five times, including Michigan, 15 (1988-90) and 15 (2021-)

UM's run from 1988 thru end of 1992 season vs. B1G was 35-2-3. The two losses were back to back home vs. MSU (the trip) and Iowa. I was at both games (one point losses)  :<(. The last two ties were also back to back to end the 92 season vs. Illinois and Ohio. As much as Ohio has had some dominant runs, we've moved the needle back in our favor. PSU is the difference between the B1G of the last 80s early 90s when UM was dominant and only had to fight off Ohio. They present a tough matchup in Happy Valley in the years we play at home vs. Ohio.

In that period (late '80s/early '90s) OSU was actually a little down, relatively speaking.  Iowa had some good teams under Hayden Fry.  Sometimes Illinois or Sparty was good.  It wasn't quite the "Big 2, little 8" like in the '70s.  Michigan was on top and then there was parity in the next few spots in the standings.
