Andrew Dakich transferring to Ohio State (seriously)
Per ESPN
Michigan grad transfer Andrew Dakich told ESPN that he will be playing at Ohio State next season. Chris Holtmann needed help in backcourt.

I've seen this gif many times, but it just occured to me that it's Tom DeLonge.
For real - excellent vid - a classic. DeLonge quit the band and is a full-time UFO researcher now. True story.
LOL perfect summation in 1.5 seconds
Andrew gave his all to Michigan. Can't fault him for going to another solid Big Ten school where he'll actually get playing time.
Even with all the Buckeye attrition, I doubt he sees much playing time. Considering his best scholarship offer was Quinnipiac for a 5th year, it would be hard to turn down a B1G school. No offense to Dakich, but if they are offering him a scholarship that means their roster is in worse shape than I thought.
We'll have to wait for the details. If he's walking on there, then he's dead to me. \s...sort of
If he's actually on scholarship and seeing the floor on a regular basis, OSU has serious back court issues. I hate to knock a guy who seemed to do everything Beilein asked of him, but there was a significant drop off when he was on the court getting real minutes.
Dakich Twitter feed: I'll be taking my dancing skills to The Ohio State University next year where I will receive a School of Dance full ride. Rock on!
Family values and all that notwithstanding....
Renounce your American citizenship and gain British citizenship? Sure, it's been done before....
Ripple effects of OSU firing Matta in the summer:
They hire the Butler coach.
Butler hires UW Milwaukee Lavall Jordan, who hires Jeff Meyer away from UM.
UW Milwaukee hires a Northwestern assistant as their head coach, creating a vacancy which is filled by
Northwestern hiring Billy Donlon away from UM.
Now OSU has such a messed up roster that they have lured our bench mob maestro away.
The last time a major OSU program was in shambles they spent one year in purgatory (and almost beat us anyway) and then had one of the best coaches in the game to plug right in and they've been on an unholy tear ever since. They had better suck for at least two seasons.
The entire Boren family is low-rent trash. Mike Boren waited until Bo was dead to trash our program because the coward didn't have the guts to do it while Bo was alive because he knew Bo would've kicked his ass even as an infirm 70-something man.
Fuck him and his crotch-fruit garbage pail wastes of sperm.
and have the pic of zach standing over devin on the side of their trucks. highlight of his life for now and forever.
They still plow snow in the winter.
His class credits are coming from Ohio State University, so not so good for him as you might expect. OSU credits can lead to brainlock.
THE Ohio State University... of Ohio

to double postings too...
Right you are.
I was hoping no one would notice, but no such luck.
Not trying to take a shot at Dakich, but this just shows how far OSU has fallen in basketball. A couple of years ago they wouldn't have even answered the phone.
Yeah, a few years back they seemed like they were Kentucky Lite, taking in several 5 star or highly rated 4 stars every year.
Actually, a few years back they were ignoring a future POY from Columbus. Just sayin'.
No, just fucking no.
I get doing the best thing for yourself and all that, but thats just fucked up.
Grab your pitchforks!!!!!
Take a look at Ohio States schedule and find out what teams play AT Ohio State. He's always joking around and I really can't put it past him to tell a reporter that he is playing at Ohio State next season but leaving out the part where he will be on the visiting team.
but the "Chris Holtmann needed help in the backcourt" sort of kills the idea
I mean, it's an objectively true statement, and it's not like he's saying "and I am that help"...
Dude, that's freaking bullshit.
I grew to like Dan Dakich during Andrew's time on the team. I wonder if I still will like Dan Dakich now that Andrew's gone full-Boren* on us. (Probably.)
*I really grew to like Andrew Dakich on Michigan's bench and all the energy he brought. I hope the move works for him individually. But never, ever, go full Boren.
