NCAA Tournament/March Madness Day 4 Thread (Iowa-Nova, first game of the day)
Iowa - Villanova playing first this fine afternoon. Pretty meh start for both squads thus far.

Game is picking up a bit now!...

though I have been frustrated by Beilein's recent stubbornness (auto bench, poor defense, poor rebounding) and obviously disappointed by the total lack of athletic recruits...
Iowa hasn't been to the sweet 16 since 1999. Ouch. They seem to have a good team year in and out for the last half a dozen seasons or so. I guess this provides some perspective about how hard it is to get to the Elite 8/Final 4/National Title Game.

Whenever they are perceived as good they are always average. No matter what the sport. When was their last truly great football or basketball team?
The '02 football team, probably. Annihilated us in Ann Arbor. Lost to the USC juggernaut in the bowl game, but no real shame in that.
against USC.
Might have been an interesting game if he could have completed a check down swing pass to the RB.

The Transitive Property Of Sports leads to some interesting conclusions, to say the least. Too bad there is no such thing, right?
I mean, think of the teams that should just effing dominate the Tournament year over year if such a concept actually was a thing in evaluating college basketball teams, for starters.
I used the transitive property in 1999 and was able to make it go all the way to my small NAIA school that I attended beating Duke that year.
∴ Michigan is better than Kentucky by the Transitive Property</BulletProofLogic>
Apparently, it says that teams like Iowa and MMSU bring a lot more intensity against Michigan than they do in the NCAA.

I think we'll be improved next year and this will be a moot point . . . but anyway, Wright's overall tournament record is pretty bad.
We have a better chance of hiring Orville or Wilbur Wright

If Wisconsin wins tonight the Big Ten will be sitting okay, actually. Add that to a Maryland win...3/16 teams. The only perceptual issue against the conference is Sparty and I'm A-OK with that!
Extra time for posting since you got fired from that radio gig?
That dude would be on the street and unemployed otherwise. Still don't know how you get off with plagiarizing someone else's work and not be reprimanded.

I love how we always beat Florida (in both sports) and they never can.

I just noticed that the times seem to be an hour off. I assume it's the site and not a setting on my profile.
Man... Michigan would've probably beaten SFA too. Sigh.
Nothing. Just unrivaled koolaid drinking and Michigan fandom.
