For those looking for tickets, what sections would we want? Or asked another way, would we face the helmet logo or be on the other side of it (upside down)? Hope that makes sense
If you’re ok not being on campus or downtown, I would recommend Meditterano by Briarwood. They have outdoor seating too - or at least did in November in a heated tent. Never had a bad meal there.
Didn’t Warde say or allude tonsone way of acknowledging or showing the banners in some other way? Maybe that’s where this is headed. Take them out of archives but don’t raise them
A display in Crisler? Museum? Stop hiding them and put them out there for a historical look at the era - good and bad. Then let people discuss. But don’t celebrate the breaking of rules (no matter how stupid) with raising the banners
1. I could go to Austin for a lateral, make a few extra bucks and leave a program that didn’t reward me for the great job I’ve done. I don’t know anything about their roster but Yak is clearly more familiar with ours.
Doing this means uprooting my family and doesn’t guarantee I get a head coaching job at Texas or elsewhere in the near future.
2. I roll with the players I know. Retain “Defensive Coordinator” role and stay loyal to the players and program under Juwan. Yes, I’m disappointed I’m not the head man but I know my defense will be great again with Simpson at the point and Teske in the post. We have one more year of a great defense and I leave then. Or wait for Juwan to go back to the NBA after 4 years or so. And I could still get a big raise to stay.
I don’t see the upside for him in leaving aside from leaving in spite and taking the next challenge. Does a job at Texas get him any closer to a head job.
Stepping down? Hard to step much lower than the gutter! Classic scumbag just like Tressel. Typical for that school that wants to win at all costs. Good riddance.
Loh should have done the right thing and fired him. Then force the Boards hand to fire him. It may be disruptive to UMD but it removes the cancer that is Durkin
For those in the Chicagoland area but not able to make it to the city for one of our sponsor bars, there are two locations this weekend in the suburbs where we will be watching games. Hope you can make it tomorrow night. Go Blue!

My younger (14) is asking about a Crisler party. Would we all need to look up at the jumbo tron to watch or do they place screens on the court for better viewing (and neck comfort)? Seriously.
Thanks. Pretzel Bell wasn't there when I was in AA. I couldn't tell from the pictures online if the TV situation - size, placement would work. Will definitely check it out and would fit with me getting there early while the family wandered downtown.
Good point. I was thinking that. Somewhere I could sit and wait and the rest of the family can mill around - maybe South U/downtown shopping. Something like that would work for me. Still I'm taking a chance of missing out on a table. Or I could try for reservations.
I’m not a big Dick Vitale fan but he had a great line: “Luck is when preparation meets opportunity”
We certainly prepared and practiced that play over and over. Then due to a down game (again) offensively, we had the opportunity to run the play. And it was executed perfectly.
Really? Those bullets must’ve been tough. Keep playing the victim Tommy. Meanwhile the real victims who you supposedly were looking out for will continue to break down the wall at MSU. If you really want to bring respect back to MSU then leave and own up to the rotten culture you’ve created. Until then shut the fuck up.
So very much. We are extremely fortunate to have Coach B at the helm. Ten years in the wilderness after Ellerbe were tough but we are in such great shape now

All time best game show clip! Hands down!
Here’s the thinking if I’m Yak.

I missed it by 2 seconds. I need to type faster. Go Blue! Win the game!
And the fact that they initially tweeted “again”, wrongly thinking Hoyer was involved in any of the past Patriot SB wins.
Oh and maybe the fact that the starting player at that position who just happened to go to said rival is the G.O.A.T. Lmao

Logged in to the new site for the first time. Best of luck Ace. You will be missed on the blog but we’ll follow you and your advocacy elsewhere.
Can we get Franz next?
Go Blue! Beat Loyola!

Owner of Pistons and UM grad in Davidson was cool but he was not a big name outside that
We played euchre during the commencement. Is that wrong?
Wait, we say that. Because it’s true.
The movie really grew on me when I saw it on TV late at night every time I had to feed our baby girl a few years later
Also....
This is our most modestly priced receptacle
The program is on good hands. Thank you coach Beilein
But there is more to it than that. Filling position needs and more importantly coaching and development will be key.
In 3-4 years this class may not be the best ever but could be very solid upper class men to help bring a championship vs an 8-5 record
Here’s hoping.
Wear maize. It will stand out more and show just how large a presence we have there.
