He definitely sounds fatigued. Hopefully he gets the treatment and rest he needs, and hopefully someday we'll see him on here again. But I also hope his other wish comes true -- that he can use his talents to promote research, understanding and treatment for CFS.

Why do you know who ace is? The overwhelming majority know him as a great writer first and then got to know how great of a man he is. So of course this guy is sad that ace is going he’s just tying it back to how we all know ace

That is so hard to watch. My wife also suffers from CFS, and you nailed it Ace: it is very misunderstood, and often misdiagnosed.
While you will be sorely missed here, I can’t wait to see the product of your considerable talent when it is focused on advocacy for patients with CFS. I’m cheering for you, and hope for nothing but better days ahead for you.

damn... I was really hoping for Ace to eventually come back when his health issues were sorted out....very sad news to hear that he is still dealing with his ongoing health issues.
I am going to miss Ace, even though I never met him, I felt like I know him and will miss his banter with Brian on the podcasts...
That said, moving on and being an advocate for ME/CFE sounds like something that will be incredibly rewarding and, forgive me Mgobloggers, using your writing talents for a greater good...health is something people take for granted: until they get sick, then they realize what's really important in life...
Hope that you are able to get right wrt to your health! Hope that we'll see you soon and that you write about Michigan winning a Rose Bowl or National Championship soon!
