Crystal Ball Updates: Murphy, Nordin, Tagaloa, and Asiasi
Board of potential recuits may be thinning out a little bit based on how some of the crystal ball picks have been going.
Connor Murphy (DE): Last 3 picks were made for USC.
Quinn Nordin (K): Last pick made for USC.
Boss Tagaloa (DT): Last couple picks for UCLA
Devin Asiasi (TE): Last pick in for UCLA

I think we still get Murphy, Hill, Nordin, Gary and Simmons.

Wait for a local guy and a national guy to both put in their CB before worrying. I just took a look at the last pick for Asiasi and Boss T. It was made by Justin Hopkins. He's got a pretty low CB accuracy rating: True Stats: 48 out of 70 (68.57 %).
However, the 247 National JC Shurburtt editor likes Michigan for Asiasi, I'll take that. Not as great, JC likes UCLA for Boss T.

I follow Justin Hopkins on Twitter because he's a good person for news on West Coast kids, but he's a huge homer who thinks the Pac-12 and Oregon are the bee's knees. He's not very reliable when it comes to "gut feelings" and such.

Don't look at ballz.
I'm telling you. More often than not, recent follows on twitter by players shows their hand.
Connor Murphy recently followed Rashan Gary and Kareem Walker.
Nordin has been following every Michigan commit--scholarship or PWO--as they have filed in.
Donald Stewart was followed two Stanford guys 3 hours before his announcement.

One follow doesn't mean that much. If he started following multiple accounts, I'd be a little worried.
He's followed other Michigan commits recently and no OSU ones.
I don't think he's gonna be one that is easily readable. Sam basically said he's 50/50 right now. Which is positive as he was considered a lean in the other direction before his visit.

He never "commits", rarely if ever puts out Top 5 lists, seldom gives interviews, hardly tips his hand.
In general he seems more like he's a young man trying to make an important decision than a kid seeking attention.
Hope we get him, but I salute him as a future "get off my lawner" either way.

It's not always the case, but more often than not it is.
Tell ya what, since I discovered this little clue, every guy who has had Michigan-friendly twitter activity has committed. First did it with Devin Bush because he was a guy I felt like we desperately needed.
Worked with Kareem Walker, Dylan Crawford, David Long, Eddie McDoom, Mbem-Bosse, Uche. Those were all the guys I was monitoring. I was so cocky we had Dwumfour, I didn't even bother checking.
Meanwhile while all the chatter about Onwenu taking a visit to go see a big basketball game was going on, his twitter activity remained pro-Michigan. He followed the newest commit at the time in Spanellis.
Donald Stewart started following Stanford people a day before his announcement, actually.

The Michigan players saying that they thought we could land the # 1 class and turning away players tells me we'll pull in some of these guys.

...on some of these ballz. The Nordin ball is from a USC homer who's not exactly spot on with these: True Stats: 8 out of 21 (38.10 %) | AVG days Correct: 374.55 | Rank: 74

Fuller: no one really knows. The kid is exceptionally close to the vest on his preferences. He's told no one anything. The only people saying Ohio are Ohio homers. The better indication is probably his Twitter follows. Also he comes off as really smart. No one smart ever pics Ohio. It's 51% Michigan.
Gary: 100% Michigan
Murphy: He's really given no indication one way or the other. But he loves Harbaugh and his family has been close to Harbaugh for years. I say 60% Michigan.
Asiasi: His visit was awesome and all things point to Michigan. He's a Bay Area guy and loves Harbaugh from his days at Stanford and San Fran. A week ago I'd say all Michigan. But rumors are his family wants him close to home. Cal is close to home. UCLA is 5 hours. We'll see. 49% Michigan.
Boss: After Harbaugh took the job he went after Boss right away. It's clear they already had respect. Harbaugh tweeted Boss the prom date photo and that was hilarious. But the truth is the same as Asiasi. 48% Michigan.
Quinn Nordin: 50/50 USC vs Michigan.
The last spot is open. Surprise OT? Vicious Vic? We'll see.
