Mattison and the D were rock stars....almost 37 minutes on the field!!! Borges blows dead bears and Hoke failed to step up as a head coach and send Borges to the showers. Devin worked hard but did not stand out against a better team! Onto next season.... Like the Notre Dame game....we gave it away. |

| 30 weeks 1 day ago | I second that |
I'll second Brady Hoke's pick. He has a habit of doing the right thing. |
| 30 weeks 5 days ago | So How did we get to 112,510 |
Our seats are on the sideline across from the student section. It was another embarassing view of empty seats in the student section. When I mentioned it to my wife and brother-in-law (both alum - I am not) there was more excuses. Each week it's been, the game is too early, it's homecoming, they're still drinking..... I suggested shrinking the student section which was an unpopular suggestion. This was apparently our 243rd consecutive game with more than 100,000 people. The attendance last week was 112,510 with 11,000 no shows (in the student section) in a stadium that holds 109,901. I for one will be there with my wife, 4 kids and other family because I can think of absolutley no better place to be on a Saturday. |
| 33 weeks 4 days ago | Love these guys |
I was at the Nebraska game last year and posted on their blog after the game about how classy their fans were in the Big House. It's going to be great having a this kind of a rivalry in the B1G. Here's hoping for a great game, where evryone stays healthy and hopefully we prevail. Go Blue |

7-0 MAC team hanging in there |
| 34 weeks 3 days ago | Thought it was great but almost went by without another mention |
When I saw Wile come out I just had a feeling it would be good based on his performance in HS. Longest field goal since 2009. Kids got a leg. Nice to see Hoke using him for kick-offs, punts and now FGs |
| 35 weeks 5 hours ago | Sounds like a great kid |
For those of you who made any negative comments at least take the time to read the article. 1) This foundation is very much affiliated with Ann Arbor and the UofM 2) This is a 12 year old kid just doing the right thing 3) I'll be at the game on Saturday and would like to find out what his route is so that I can cheer for him as he finishes up his ride. I know that all of the UofM fans that I tailgate with will be doing the same 4) if you haven't already donated please think about doing so.......Lost a 38 year old friend to this and it sucks
This has absolutely nothing to do with the battle on the field |

Ontario is the most expensive province for a university education with an average tuition of $6,640 per year while a university education in Quebec will cost you $2,519 per year. These are per year numbers (not semesters). My wife from Michigan attended undergrad at UofM and grad school at Wayne State and can't believe the differences. Link if you care

| 36 weeks 1 day ago | Athletics - Wayyyydifferent |
Collegiate level sports are way different in Canada. As a Canadian I can tell you that athletic talent if fortunate enough gets schollied in the U.S, Better athletics and full schollies which don't exist here. They are known as Athletic Financial Awards which can't exceed $4,000 per year. Good news here is that University tuition in Ontario is only about $6,400/year (think that's what I paid last semester for my oldest). |
| 36 weeks 3 days ago | Wrong Ohio |
tOSU isn't in the coaches poll but a 6-0 MAC Ohio is in there at number 31. I like them better than tOSU just on principle. |
| 39 weeks 12 hours ago | Optimist |
301 in the air (18 for 32) for 3 TDs 127 Yds on 18 carries for 1 TD My Pick was 34-27 UofM wins but this might be closer and could go either way........Damn |
| 39 weeks 6 days ago | We should all turn our shirts |
We should all turn our shirts inside out when this kid gets on the field!! |
| 40 weeks 2 days ago | Not to mention... |
The post was for "lesser know B1G players". Gholston is fairly well known inside and outside of the B1G. Just a matter of time before is temper has him on a first name basis with law enforcment too!! |
| 40 weeks 2 days ago | Funchess yes but |
I'm liking what I see from Dennis Norfleet. Kid was an RB at MLK and ranked pretty well but I didn't expect him to be returning kickoffs with the intensity that he does. Kid is hungry for the ball and fast. He makes sure that he runs into the ball. In two games he has 11 returns for 254 yards. That's an average of 23.1 yds per return and he has a long of 36. I think that he takes one to the house before too long. I was looking at Kickoff return stats for Michigan and this kid's name will be in the books before too long at this rate.Example: Stonum has the most kickoff return yards in a season with 1,001 yds. The next best was Steve Breaston with 689 yds. #15 on that list was Anthony Carter with 406 yds. Should do well as an RB if/when the coaches decide he belongs there. He used to play songs or tell jokes that reflected our oppponent. I think this is who you're talking about. He got replaced about three years ago. |
| 43 weeks 5 days ago | Football brings a Disney atmosphere to our home |
I'm from Windsor, Ontario and never went to college. Growing up I always cheered for Michigan and Notre Dame on Saturdays (what did I know). Fast forward to when I met my wife. She came into my life and the lives of my four daughters. My wife, brother in law and several of her aunts, uncles and cousins are all alum. She took me to my first game and it was all love from that point on. I went on to marry her for her season tickets and if we're not playing at home we're in a local sports bar over in Windsor. Every Saturday we and the girls get geared up, my kids paint their faces. If we're up early heading over for a home game, we wake up to her Michigan Marching Band CD. Michigan football gives our family something that all of us share a passion for. My 79 year old father who lives with us get's his colours on and gets in front of the TV to join us from home because he can't always get around. I never had the privilege of attending UofM but am very proud of my wife and in laws for having done so. I follow recruiting, read all that I can including blogs but seldom post (always accused of trolling). Michigan football gives our family something to share for at least twelve weekends a year and for a family guy that really does mean everyting. |
| 43 weeks 6 days ago | Rankings Brain Freeze |
I have long had us going 9-3 but with all of the ????? about how good we'll be and how bad others might be I just don't know. Looking at our toss up games we could go anywhere beween 8-4 or 11-1 (no way we beat Bama unless they are totally unprepared). I say 9-3 ranked 13th-15th. Find it odd that the two services SI and Pre-Snap have MSU ranked higher. This is the one game that I want us to win maybe even as much as The Game this year. As for the division champs........Toss Up games......gotta win those. |
| 1 year 19 weeks ago | Absolutely |
