Anyone still going to Indy this weekend?

Submitted by Berger04 on November 27th, 2018 at 11:51 AM

Myself and 5 other will still be attending the game. We may all wear black but we are still going. We are going for a fellas weekend. Just interested in who is still heading down there. With  the enemy fan base in the area, we thought it best to see who is still attending. We think its best to hang with other Michigan fans. What bars will go be attending?

Of course.  Not only is the B1G Championship being played it's also my ex's 50th birthday party and she and the guy she ran off with will be celebrating by spending all the money I worked my whole life to save up.  I told them I was so happy for the two of them I'd not only watch the kids but would make sure everything got cleaned up after the party and got a limo arranged so the two of them can back to their hotel room safely just in case they had too much to drink.  And naturally I picked up the room bill - finest penthouse suite the Ritz had to offer!

FUCK NO I'M NOT GOING THERE.

Because we could? I guess when you're in that position and have bags full of style points you have options. It's likely hard for you to understand which we completely get. So, no worries there.

Let us know if you would like our shitbag coach to give your oh so awesome coach some pointers on how to win a big game. I'm sure he can delegate that to Coach Day.

It's weird though. We're so undeserving, yet, here we are. Love the name too! It would make more sense though if there was a history of winning... over... and over... and over.... and over... but I do like the name!

A 29 point loss is never a minor bump if it keeps you out of the playoffs.  I know osu fans are happy about beating Michigan, but at the same time they have to be pissed thinking about what could have been.  No doubt winning the Big Ten championship is a great accomplishment but you can't tell me osu fans will be happy if they're left out of the playoffs again.  The talent gap between osu and Purdue is fucking huge and a loss to them should rarely (if ever) happen - a 29 point loss should NEVER happen.

When you're right, you're right. I'm sure we'll be not super happy if we get left out of the playoffs and that would be our fault for dropping a game to Purdue. No doubts there. That being said, we're set up just fine currently. Risky being at 6 ... but it's happened before.

Holy shit, this is cool. The writing is all the way over on the side of the page. It's now underneath the ads. I did not know that was even possible.  I'm going to keep commenting until it shows up all the way over on my other laptop.

It doesn't bother me a bit. Hooking up with buddies there I haven't seen in a long time...People can hate, I understand. We are bar hoping and just going to have a good time. Like I said a weekend with friends. I really have no interest in the game anymore.... Just meeting friends from other states there.

Why would you sit with 40k buckeyes? That’s going to be a nightmare and to watch them Win the Big 10? I would sell those tickets and get a root canal instead.

I live in Indy and won't attend. I won't even go near downtown. Hoops plays Purdue at 3:30 PM and that is all I care about.

I've already turned down free tickets to the championship game from some of my clients.

Hell no. Watching that chromosome-challenged fanbase all lathered up when they smelled Wolverine blood for the fucking 15th year in a row...especially after they near-unanimously enabled their wife-beater harboring coach. The only way I'd go is if I was assured that they would lose to Northwestern so I could watch them writhe in the pain that I hoped Michigan would inflict upon them.

Seriously, it is truly a cold, meaningless universe that lets that soulless program continue to have success.
