I'm sure the Raiders want to believe they are strongly in play for Harbaugh still and have told Glazer that. But it doesn't matter because It's Happening.

And yet very few of them will admit they're wrong and seem to blame world famine on college football fans.

Give it up. Clayton already confirmed what he refused to confirm and in the process made ESPN look amateurish.

No mention of John U Bacon or Dave Feldman, you know the "multiple reports" that actually broke the story.

hahahaha trying to credit Schefter really? Are they freaking serious? Absolute joke reporting from them, and ever so typical of ESPN.

From espn.com:
Multiple people at Michigan and in the Jim Harbaugh camp believe the San Francisco 49ers coach will wind up as the Wolverines' next head coach, as many have reported, sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
That's a tacit acknowledgement that they were way behind in reporting the story.

to talk to NFL assistants. It might be breaking a rule for SF's coach to be doing so, but the NFL isn't going to punish SF.

Once Harbaugh's season is over, he's fair game until he signs a contract with Michigan. So I understand why a reporter might hear that the Raiders are still planning to make a run at him, and report that.
Maybe they think they can flip him.
So that seems like a legit thing to report. However, I don't believe that the Raiders really have a chance at this point.

Contrary to most I think the constant, down to the wire talk about all of these franchises with interest is a good thing for UM....Shows all (rivals, fans, recruits) just how highly regarded the new UM coach is by the 'League'
