Michigan needs to bring someone in that will recruit speed. I don't care what offense they run, spread, manball, whatever. But Michigan needs speed on both sides of the ball.

Great athlete, not a QB. Similar to Denard. Biggest failures of past 2 coaches, not recognizing the weaknesses of your players.

By the way, Devin Gardener has the worse ball protection of any running Qb or rb I have ever fucking seen. You can make all the excuses you want for his crap passing, but there is no excuse for his fumbling. None.

That play, more than any other, encapsulates Devin Gardner's career at Michigan. No feel for the position, no timing, no idea how to play quarterback. Five years in the program and he never learned how to throw the ball in rhythm.

Nice.

Thank you Devin Gardner.  Glad you never let your spirit be broken, and proved it, against all odds, by scoring in the end. May you find the mentors you need to match that spirit and build your strengths & skills, and may your future be bright.

Lack of mental focus. This OSU team is flawed, but had the focus and desire to do the little things.

We simply don't have that. That is coaching. And that is why Hoke is done.

Guys played hard for 3.5 quarters and had their chances. Just reminded of the comment of "team of almosts" as Griese stated the fumble summed up the whole season. Just not good enough.

When it's close, this game always comes down to coaching. The end of the first half and the end of the game killed us. Little decisions made by the coaching staffs on either side killed us.
